When did you have to subscribe to Cornwall Live to be able to access the news content? Accuracy of reporting is at best not good and now we are expected to pay for inaccurate/false representation in the local news. What has happened to what was a Free Local News Service? ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2025-03-11* Very left wing biased, can’t criticise labour, unions etc and posts deactivated for no discernible reason , so many words that you can’t use such as white, Caucasian , melanin, snow (spot the pattern) etc amongst so many others. Don’t recommend at all!! ### 1/5 — Disgusting paper. *2025-02-24* The reporting on this paper is the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s a constant witch hunt and they constantly control people’s opinions on their stories. Picking and choosing when to have comments on or off. Cornwall live do better ### 1/5 — Dull and repetitive *2024-11-12, version 9.3.8* This app is pretty dull and repetitive not really news worthy and not exclusively Cornish either! Misleading journalism ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-09-19* Whenever a ‘headline’ comes up as a notification (which is often just unimportant, recycled garbage), clicking on it will take you directly to the Cornwall Live website which is absolutely riddled with adverts that literally take up 75% of the screen (I’m not joking). If you are actually able to read the article it’s often littered with spelling mistakes and is biased towards or against whoever they seem to like or despise that day. Bad journalism, bad app. It’s a shame this is our main source of news in Cornwall with no other great alternative. ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2024-05-06, version 9.2.5* This app along with other Trinity apps keeps freezing my phone. Most evenings, after the day is done, I sit down to read and the first thing I tap is “Cornwall live” on my iPhone. Last year 2019 I was lucky enough to go on a weeks tour of Devon and Cornwall I n June and I’ve never looked back. It truly is the most for wonderful place on earth and that’s coming from someone who has travelled far and wide for the past 30 years. I really enjoy the articles and congratulate the writers photographers and editors on a marvellous job. So topical so human interest so Cornwall. Thank you for the opportunity to read about your beautiful beautiful countryside.
