Ik woon in NYC, reis regelmatig heen en weer en heb voor al het voorgenoemde de nodige paperassen ter beschikking die niet worden geaccepteerd. Weer zo’n mooi voorbeeld van het falen van het zogenaamde “tolerantie” beleid van NL. Er is al zoveel ophef over bij de Nederlanders wonende in Nederland. Die ruwweg 1 miljoen van ons die in het buitenland wonen worden zelfs compleet genegeerd. Pardon, geweigerd. Letterlijk. Ik ga denk maar anders stemmen vanaf nu. I live in DE and have EU covid vaccine certificates and this app does not allow you to upload them, you have to have a Dutch resident ID. Does this mean only Dutch residents can go to shops, etc starting on 25 Sep? ### 1/5 — Useless app *2021-09-12, version 2.3.0* Via the website coronacheck.nl I was told to download this app which I did. To upload my CDC vaccination card I have to login with DigiD which does not work. Now I am stuck. But why I try to generate the ar code it says “at this moment we can’t make a certificate…”. I’m not getting vaccinated again especially not here in the Netherlands😡🤬 ### 1/5 — 1 vaccine means not valid in NL *2021-07-04, version 2.1.3* I’m only given one vaccine as determined by the Dutch government because I’ve already had covid. However, the app will not give me proof of my vaccination for the Netherlands because I’ve only had one vaccine. I got a covid test through GGD and can see on coronatest.nl that the result is negative, but when I try to create a QR code in this app it says that I haven’t taken any tests (it has been more than 12 hours since the results are available on coronatest.nl). Also, my husband created a QR code after receiving his first dose, but the QR code wrongly indicates that he has had two doses. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Extreme gov overreach *2022-01-28, version 2.8.0* Sad day for any Dutch person when they’re forced to use so an Orwellian app to participate in society. ### 1/5 — App is a joke *2022-01-18, version 2.7.1* I traveled to the Netherlands caught Covid on the plane. Tested positive and am trying for weeks to get an international recovery document but needs this app to download the document. After calling in for so many times they placed me on a emergency ticket that takes 3-30 days to arrive before I can activate this app AND get to my recovery document. Rebooked my flight and still no email. I need to fly out in 6 days if my pcr comes back positive I am F***. Lousy system and a horrible app ### 1/5 — This APP is DISCRIMINATORY! *2021-12-07, version 2.6.1* This app promotes discrimination and exclusion of people. ### 1/5 — SOLUTION - To This Terrible Rollout in NL *2021-12-05, version 2.6.1* Heading from the US to Netherlands and as you can read below, unless you have or can get a DigiID, you’re not getting a QR code in this app (as a US citizen anyway). However, I was in Switzerland and Germany recently who do offer this common sense solution for travelers and those QR codes work in the CoronaCheck Scanner that Dutch business require/use. Download the CoronCheck app and see if yours will recognize (assuming you have one from another country in the EU). However, when you live abroad and have been vaccinated abroad (even as Dutch passport holder with a DigiD), there is no possibility to upload any international proof of vaccination in this app. I hope this can be improved, so all international travellers can use the app efficiently when visiting the Netherlands. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2021-11-11, version 2.5.0* I have both vaccinations in the NL but have never been able to use the app to access the QR code. It takes me to DigiD to sign in (through safari) and then tells me I’ve been inactive for more than 15 min going back through safari to this app. I can print my QR code’s on CoronaCheck punt NL so that’s what I will use if necessary. I was able to bring up negative test on the app w code from GGD. Updated to say nothing has changed. Nov 21 ### 1/5 — Bad design - bad Ux - does not work *2021-11-02, version 2.4.1* Did they hire one junior developer? It’s for use as a COVID “passport” for traveling. Do you want a convenient QR code to scan at the airport? De 4 sterren zeker waard. Zodra de winterpoppetjes in de animatie vervangen zijn door een zomersere versie stel ik mijn rating bij naar 5 sterren. I tried to be a responsible global citizen by making the extra effort. But the app doesn’t accept CDC cards. 😭 I also have a positive antibody test from when I got Corona back in March 2020. Again, no way to upload it into the system. 😭 So, I have various proofs of immunity but no way of participating. And there’s no guidance on any FAQs of the sites I’ve look at about what I should do. Looks like I’m going to have to call the Rijksoverheid, which defeats the purpose of the app in my opinion. 🙃 I gave it two stars instead of one because it looks useful for people who fit perfectly within the user profile and use case they designed it for.
