## What is Corpus?

Your marketing lives in a hundred documents — brand guidelines, past campaigns, product sheets, research. Corpus turns them into a private brain that answers questions and drafts copy grounded in what YOU wrote, with citations back to the source.

HOW IT WORKS
Import text, Markdown, or CSV documents into a local library. Corpus indexes them on your Mac with a deterministic retrieval engine — no cloud, no embeddings service. Ask a question or request a draft: it retrieves the most relevant passages and answers from them, citing each source inline.

NO MODEL REQUIRED
With no AI configured, Corpus still retrieves and ranks the exact passages you need. Connect on-device Apple Intelligence, a local Ollama or LM Studio server, or your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and 20+ vendors) for synthesized, grounded answers.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your library lives on your Mac in a local database. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain.

SUBSCRIPTION AND TERMS

Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
