## What is Corpus?

Your watch collects incredible data about your body. Heart rate, sleep stages, HRV, workouts, recovery — it's all there in Apple Health. The problem is, none of it tells you what to actually do.

Corpus reads that data and turns it into something useful: a daily briefing on how your body is doing, a weekly training plan built around your goals, and an AI coach you can talk to whenever you need guidance.

Open the app in the morning and you'll see where you stand. Not numbers — clear states. Your sleep was fair. Your readiness is low. Your recovery is depleted. Strain is climbing. Each one is derived from your real biometric data using published clinical thresholds, not a single made-up score.

Below that, your AI coach has already written you a daily comment. It might tell you to back off today because your HRV has been trending down all week. Or it might push you to hit that tempo run because your recovery looks strong and your marathon is eight weeks out. It's specific to you, every single day.

Set your goals — run a half marathon, gain muscle, sleep better, manage stress — and Corpus builds a training plan that fits your schedule. It knows your work hours, your recovery status, and what you did last week. Plans update automatically as your body responds.

The chat is where it gets interesting. Ask your coach to adjust today's workout, explain why your readiness tanked, plan your diet around a race, or figure out what to focus on this month. It has your full health picture and your goals in front of it at all times.

One of the most useful features takes about ten seconds a day: three yes-or-no questions each morning, picked based on what your data looked like overnight. Did you drink alcohol? Late screen time? Stressful day? Over a few weeks, Corpus starts connecting the dots. You'll see statements like "Alcohol is associated with 20% less deep sleep" or "Late meals drop your readiness the next day" — backed by your own data, not generic advice.

You can also snap photos of meals. The AI describes what it sees, tags relevant behaviours automatically, and feeds it all into the same correlation engine. No calorie counting, no food diaries — just a quick photo and the app handles the rest.

Every workout gets a proper breakdown: heart rate over time, zone distribution, pace splits, route maps, running dynamics. And each one comes with an AI-generated insight that connects the session to your training plan and your goals.

Corpus works best with Apple Watch, but it's compatible with any device that syncs to Apple Health — Garmin, Samsung, Fitbit, or a smart scale. If the data is in Apple Health, Corpus can use it.

Your data stays on your device. Only structured summaries are sent to the AI — never raw biometrics. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. You can delete everything at any time from the app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 26.4.2 — 2026-05-07

26.4.2 — Sharper sleep score, chat status & polish
  - Refreshed sleep score. So the four sleep states (Poor / Fair / Good / Excellent) line up with how the night actually went.
  - Chat shows what it's doing. While Corpus answers, the loading bubble morphs into a status capsule for each tool call: "Looking at your sleep…", "Reviewing your workouts…", "Adjusting your roadmap…" — so you know whether it's reading data, planning or drafting.
  - More reliable chat queries. Hardened the chat tool loop so health-data lookups are far less likely to be dropped or returned half-empty mid-conversation.
  - Chat pings even when you're elsewhere. If a reply arrives while you're on another tab or have the app foregrounded but outside the chat, you now get the notification banner and the unread badge — not just a silent badge bump.
  - Cleaner dashboard. Removed the duplicated insight card so the bottom of the feed no longer repeats itself.
  - Smarter morning check-in tags. Answering "No" to a check-in question (e.g. "Magnesium?") no longer pins a misleading tag pill to the saved note.

### 26.4.1 — 2026-05-07

26.4 — Whole-person coaching & manual workouts
  - Insights that connect the dots. Corpus now reads sleep, mood, nutrition and training as one system — a rough night shows up in tomorrow's coaching, not just on a sleep card.
  - Log workouts your watch missed. New "Add a workout" card on the dashboard for tennis matches, sauna, runs without the watch. Saved straight to Apple Health and counted toward your strain. Slide a manual workout left to remove it.
  - Distance on the steps screen. Today's walking + running distance under your step count, plus a 7-day chart.
  - Smarter goal planning. A single unified weekly roadmap covers all your goals together. When two don't fit, Corpus offers a clean swap in chat. Period- and illness-aware, so heavier sessions land on the right days.
  - Chat that pings you. When Corpus has a question — about a milestone, a goal conflict, or how you're feeling — you get a notification and an unread marker, just like any modern chat.
  - Tap to record. Voice notes and chat dictation now use tap-to-start, tap-to-stop. Tap the red X to discard. No more lost trailing words.
  - Subscription, smoother starts, broader Spanish. Corpus is now a subscription with a free trial. Faster first-launch from older versions, more Spanish polish, and small bug fixes across chat, roadmap and workouts.

### 26.3.1 — 2026-04-24

26.3.1 — Voice polish, note editing & clearer comparisons
  - Voice dictation reliability. Long voice messages no longer drop their last few words, and you can send another message right after a long recording. Holding the mic with the keyboard open now keeps the keyboard in place.
  - Edit any note by tapping it. Text and dictated notes are now tap-to-edit, matching photo notes. A one-time tip surfaces the gesture.
  - Day-of-week comparison redesigned. The dashboard card now shows whether today's stress, workload and readiness are higher, similar or lower than a typical weekday, with coloured chips instead of raw numbers.
  - Broader Spanish polish. Fixed "Juevess" pluralisation, translated weekday short labels on the Readiness screen, and localised the "Moderate" strain label.

### 26.3 — 2026-04-22

26.3 — Voice, continuity & cleaner dashboard
  - Voice notes and voice chat. Hold the microphone on the dashboard to dictate a note, or on the chat screen to speak your message — release to send, drag off to cancel. Runs on-device for speed and privacy.
  - Milestone continuity card. Each active goal now has a compact previous / current / next timeline on the dashboard, so you can see where you are in the arc at a glance. Tap to jump into the full roadmap.
  - Chat can reshape your roadmap. Ask Corpus in chat to add, edit, reorder, or delete milestones — changes land live on the roadmap without leaving the conversation.
  - Gentler handling of unrealistic goals. If a goal can't be planned safely, Corpus pauses the roadmap and offers a "Chat to adapt goal" action that opens with a fresh, context-aware question instead of leaving you stuck.
  - More reliable milestone targets. Weekly workout, sleep and behaviour targets are now generated deterministically and stay consistent across refreshes.
  - Today-only photo picker. Attaching a photo to notes now shows just the pictures you took today, so yesterday's shots can't end up on the wrong day.
  - Cleaner dashboard order. Day-at-a-glance, today's notes and the roadmap lead the feed; the tip or insight of the day now sits at the bottom where it belongs.
  - Week screen milestone header. The week view now shows which milestone this week is advancing.
  - Now requires iOS 26. We've raised the minimum OS to unlock on-device speech and newer platform features.
  - Everyday polish. More Spanish coverage, onboarding tip banners, and a batch of small bug fixes across dashboard, onboarding and workout details.

### 26.2.3 — 2026-04-16

26.2.3 — User's feedback
  - Meal reminders. Corpus estimates your meal windows and nudges you to log them at the right time.
  - Sleep stages explained. The sleep chart now describes what Light, REM and Deep sleep do, with healthy target ranges.
  - Low-energy & peak windows are shown on your day so you can plan around them.
  - Friendlier milestone check-ins. When a milestone wasn't completed, Corpus asks whether to mark it done, skip, or keep working — and celebrates when you hit one.
  - Quick check-in notifications. "Corpus has a question" — 3 quick questions about yesterday or your last shift, takes 10 seconds.
  - Broader Spanish coverage and notification polish throughout.
