The swarm and the contagion are too hard and there’s just no way to finish the skill tree and break past lvl100 the y need to be nerfed a little so that the game is completable. Well. Game data lost on my end due to this ### 2/5 — FIX YOUR AI AND YOUR TUTORIAL *2021-01-07* The ai in this game is so annoying because the speed demons in this game do nothing hut shoot you and fly around right outside of the radius of all your weapons, like sometimes even the drones dont go for them and just sit there flying around you doing nothing, the most annoying ai are the embryo ai, like i dont mind the basic ships but the second that the white embryo ships that go super fast come around is almost impossible to kill them with drones or if you can get a lucky shot after the embryos finally hit a rock. ### 4/5 — Good game *2020-10-30* The game is fun with lots of exploring to do but exploring gets really boring after awhile and each time I go to a new system I have to fight off enemies which take more time defeat than I wish to spend. The dev is known for this, so do yourself a favor and delete this. If I get a response and in-game compensation, I will delete this review. The fact that their scout seems to shoot further and fly faster despite my levels and changes. Disgusting. Its auto targeting makes the game nearly unplayable now. I had a lot of the game explored on android back when it was still event horizon. With the money i spent there I probably helped fund this revamp. Sad to see where my money went. Otherwise, the game is a lot of fun. ### 2/5 — Newer isn’t always better *2024-02-17, version 1.10.3* I played this game like 2 or 3 years ago and I enjoyed it so much I completed a few hundred levels and so on but I re-downloaded it and it’s changed so much in a bad way. I don’t understand why these changes have been made but it’s bad, I was used to going to the next level and fighting off waves of ships protecting my base but now it’s just ship vs ship. Huge ### 5/5 — Amazing game, one questional mechanic *2024-10-29* I love this game, and have been playing it atleast since the empire released, and have even taken down Red Dwarf stations. Their planets though, oh boy. Planet exploration is already immensely difficult late game, being forced to fight multiple battleships and capital ships with just a frigate, I could always get through. Red Dwarf is a different story, their triple skull ships are just insanely difficult, quickly wiping out my infinity stone and hull again after, and outrun my ship with about 20+ speed. Not to mention the toxic clouds dealing tens of thousands of damage a second, it feels extremely unfair, even when I have an infinity stone. I dread trying to unlock the blueprints that only drop on the planets. Amazing game, I love the challenge, don’t get me wrong, but planet exploration was already an overly risky slog, but now it seems unapproachable. It feels occasionally unbalanced, and the controls could be considered inconvenient. (It gets a lot better with practice, and you have the option of customizing the controls) But I consider the game nevertheless amazing. If the concept appeals to you, definitely try it out. There’s no other game, on mobile, that combines both ship design and piloting skill to any level of depth. Believe me, I’ve searched. Some of my personal opinion on possible improvements: Keybindings don’t allow multiple keys bound to one weapon (ie frontal shield) and binding many (for example, 10 small pulse cannons) weapons to one key sometimes doesn’t work when shooting. The autopilot goes in virtually infinite circles with the enemy autopilot now, and some enemies still exceed 20 speed with mass drivers which are literally impossible to take down unless you have medium range instantaneous hit weapon or a long range missile or TU and a lot of inertial dampers. That is because those fast enemies always avoid your weapons range.
