## What is Cosmic Measures?

We spend so much of our lives measuring ourselves and others through a narrow lens, our city, our country, our timelines, our feeds. But what happens when you zoom out? When you stop thinking only in Earth terms and start imagining yourself in the vast stage of the solar system?

Cosmic Measures is a simple, playful app that reframes perspective. On one side, it shows how your age and weight would change on other worlds - the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, even the Sun. On the other, it gently reminds us that many of the “measures” we obsess over are just byproducts of living here, on this small blue planet.

It’s part wonder, part reflection: a cosmic mirror that says, your value isn’t fixed, it’s relative. Try it with friends, share a laugh about being a toddler on Neptune, or marvel at how light you’d feel on the Moon.

The math is grounded in planetary science, though simplified, because this isn’t a textbook, it’s a tool for curiosity.

• When switching to Kg on the Earth card, the Newton conversion was being applied twice, making for a hilarious unit of force (geek).
• Description punctuation. I’ve always corrected written content that would use ellipses when trying to express a dramatic pause. I would fume that ellipses indicate unstated addition information not worth adding, or a trail off. Well, now people associate a double hyphen/en dash/em dash with something written by AI. Well, I went in and replaced my dramatic pauses with the weakest pauses, the comma, and the second weakest, the single hyphen. Sad. Fun. Love you.
