### 3/5 — mad

*2026-01-08, version 3.4*

because every single time we try doing it it keeps on doing something wrong

### 4/5 — Ok

*2025-12-26, version 3.4*

So the app is fine. But the activation of the watch took several hours to complete and they don’t notify you when or if it has happened so it leaves you guessing as you try to figure out why the watch isn’t working. Also I wasn’t getting the 2FA emails for several hours either so I couldn’t login to figure out what was going on.

### 4/5 — Basic kids phone watch

*2025-12-23*

To sum up, we are glad as this option as a first “phone” watch for our teen since we are prefer not to give a screen or personal device until older. It does the job, we can get a hold of each other. Sometimes the location of slightly off, which has definitely freaks me out, saying she is a little further away 🤯😱.
Also, definitely a few steps to do everything for safety reasons. A few extra features would be nice like the tiny text letters. But overall it’s worth the price and does the job.

### 2/5 — Poor battery life, can’t hear calls

*2025-12-22, version 3.4*

Considering it only lasts a day, even when it’s not constantly updating is infuriating. So if my kid gets lost, I better find him fast because this watch will die in less than 24 hours at a full charge. I can barely hear calls, thank goodness for texting otherwise it’d be useless. The location is not very accurate either. It often puts him at a completely different house than where he’s at. We are currently at home and his watch says he is 3 full houses down, sometimes it’s an entire block off. Doesn’t give me a great deal of confidence. I tell other moms to pick a different brand.

### 3/5 — Kids watch

*2025-12-19, version 3.4*

Works well for texting and phone calls but because my spouse is the primary contact, I am not able to start active tracking and the passive tracker updates rarely.

### 4/5 — Great first smart watch for kids

*2025-12-17, version 3.4*

The Cosmo watches and Mission Control app are working great for our family. The app makes it easy to add approved contacts, set up focus mode for during school hours and track our kids location using gps. The watches have just enough features to make them useful and interesting for our 10 year old twins, and are a perfect stepping stone towards the coveted smart phones they someday hope to own.

### 4/5 — Good kids smartwatch/tracker

*2025-12-17, version 3.4*

The Cosmo watch and app give me peace of mind by allowing my child to have some independence as he grows, while still letting me track his location and communicate when needed. The texting feature works well, though the call quality could be improved. Overall, we are happy with Cosmo.

### 4/5 — Could be better

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

The watch is good so far, but need some improvement for the app, especially the App Store is on another page that need to be logged in again each time.

### 4/5 — App

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

Great app, helps to give our kids so freedom with us still having peace of mind

### 4/5 — Great first device

*2025-12-16*

We got the Cosmo watch for our 6-year-old and it’s been a great fit for this age. I love that it lets us stay in touch without giving them a full phone. Calling and texting are easy for him to use, and the GPS gives me peace of mind when he’s at school or activities.

The parental controls are simple and actually useful, and I appreciate that there’s no internet or social media access. Battery life easily lasts the day, and the watch itself has held up well to everyday kid wear and tear.

Overall, it’s been a great first “tech” device—our child feels independent, and we feel connected. Highly recommend for younger kids.

### 4/5 — Independence for her & peace of mind for us

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

As parents who are trying to avoid getting our tween a phone for as long as possible, we like the Cosmo watch a lot. The app is great - we can see her location and be notified when she enters or leaves zones that we set up. We have control over who she can contact and when and it’s great being able to text her or call. My only complaint is that her data seems to drop occasionally. It’s temporary but frustrating as she can’t call or text us and we can’t either, or see her location. It doesn’t happen often or last more than a few minutes, so it’s not a deal breaker as being able to contact her and know where she is is wonderful.

### 4/5 — Works well

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

We’ve been using the Cosmo app this school year and it works well for tracking and communicating with our child on their walk home from school. It’s nice to see in real time where they are so we won’t worry.

### 3/5 — Good but Needs Improvement

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

Honestly it’s kind of useless. If it was integrated with the Parent Portal, then you would have a useful app. There should be one app to track your child, review their texts, add contacts etc.

### 4/5 — Works well

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

The call quality isn’t great but it’s a watch, texts and tracking go through easily even in rural areas where cell service is spotty. Holds a charge for 2 days with moderate use.
Overall happy with the purchase and the piece of mind it gives.

### 4/5 — Works as expected

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

The app provides an intuitive interface to manage my son’s watch. I like the geofencing feature and the option for my son to check-in his location. Refreshing and showing the current location sometimes it slow, but accurate most of the time. Keep up the good work.

### 3/5 — Gets the job done

*2025-12-16, version 3.3*

We’ve had the watch for our 5th grader for three months. Up until this week I would have given it 4 stars, but the tracking doesn’t work too well, which is a major part of wanting the watch! It’s been glitchy with connection with receiving texts and calls. When it is all working, we’re really loved having access to our child and knowing our child can reach us!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No

*2026-02-07, version 3.4*

Is basically a cheap wrap around for the parent portal website and no matter what you do (YES, WE HAVE MADE AN EMAIL) the website constantly tells you “email not found”. App, website and watch are therefore unusable

### 1/5 — The worst

*2026-01-23, version 3.4*

This watch is a piece of junk . My son can call and text but isn’t able to receive calls or texts . I can only track him . We will be buying him an apple watch it’s cheaper through our phone services . Don’t waste your time or money on this watch or service .

### 1/5 — Horrible service and company

*2026-01-18, version 3.4*

We had for two weeks before requesting a return on everything. The calls didn’t go through most of the time and would say, the call could not be completed and to try again later. The tracking was always off if it loaded at all. The battery died within a few hours without doing anything on the watch, including calls, texts, games. The company has been a nightmare to work with for a refund and charges return fees if approved. Wish we picked a different watch like Bark.

### 1/5 — Needs Work!

*2025-12-23, version 3.4*

I was invited to become one of my grandson’s guardians. It only offered parent sign up and would have made me the primary contact. Also would not recognize my password despite having the correct number of letters and numbers in the password.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-12-15, version 3.3*

Stopped working after a day. My son is non verbal so the sole purpose of my purchase was tracking and it sucks.

### 1/5 — App is terrible

*2025-11-27, version 3.3*

Literally cannot figure out how to access school mode so my daughter can’t even use her watch except for specific time periods. The app loops you in a circle. VERY confusing

### 1/5 — Cosmo watch application

*2025-10-10, version 3.1.3*

The application is poor and not accurate it shows the battery is 50% and it’s died already.. the parent portal should be included with application not in different link .. used for second day and not happy at all with it

### 1/5 — Focus mode doesn’t work??

*2025-08-31, version 3.1*

Focus mode work for a few days and then stopped working and won’t reset. Troubleshooting doesn’t work. AI help doesn’t offer anything… not too impressed in under a week using watches. No help available on weekends. Would recommend not getting these watches with too many issues.

### 1/5 — Does not do what it says

*2025-08-11, version 3.1*

This app does not track your child in real time as presented. In fact - it seldom connects at all. The watch itself seems to be “ok” but this turned out to be rather disappointing.

### 1/5 — Do not buy

*2025-07-25, version 3.1*

This worked for less than 24 hours and then they do not refund the activation fee so you are still out money.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I love it

*2026-02-25, version 3.4*

It’s great, I have one right now it’s really great the only bad thing is that sometimes when my mom sends me a text I don’t get her text and when she tracks me it’s wrong

### 5/5 — Great first watch

*2025-12-22, version 3.4*

We have had this for about a month and no problems have come up. It works well, and was very intuitive for my child. It does exactly what is says
As far as blocking numbers and has been completely reliable with GPS, texting and calling. I do recommend.

### 5/5 — No regrets!

*2025-12-18, version 3.4*

Cosmo: Mission Control is an excellent app that adds real value to the Cosmo JrTrack 5 watch. We’re very glad we purchased the Cosmo JrTrack 5 watch, and we absolutely do not regret choosing the prepaid 2-year plan. It has been a great experience overall and well worth it!!

### 5/5 — Cosmo app

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

We love this app and the cosmo watch! They’ve both been a great introduction to technology for our child.

### 5/5 — Great for Kids!

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

I use this watch/app for my 11 year old son. I love that I can track where he is, and get a hold of him via text or call whenever I want. The app is simple to use and to manage who can call or text him. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Review

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

My family and i purchased the Jr track 5 watch for my daughter’s birthday!
We were looking for something so we could keep in contact with our 8 year old and keep a close eye on her location.
So far we love it and it’s perfect for kids who are too young for a cellphone but wants to feel a little more independent.

It’s everything we wanted. We have had no Issues.

The watch holds a charge for at-least 8 hours while my daughter is at school. She wears the watch every-time she leaves the house.

10/10 recommend

### 5/5 — Great app/product

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

We purchased two watches for our children. These have given that extra peace of mind we needed as they hit the age where they are searching for a little more freedom!

### 5/5 — Great option for kids

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

The watch is a perfect introduction to kids you don’t want to have full access to a smartphone. My child can call or text only those on the approved list and only has access to apps I download for him. The gps tracking is also a great feature for when we let them venture out on their own but still feel nervous about it.

### 5/5 — Amazing app to pair with Smartwatch

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

The Cosmo watch (and Mission Control app) gives my son freedom and me the peace of mind! He enjoys the apps on the watch and I enjoy being able to track his location if needed. Highly recommend this app and smart watch!

### 5/5 — Tracker/Watch

*2025-12-16, version 3.4*

We’ve been using Cosmo for less than six months and like their customer service.
