In less than a week, shes been in Europe, Peru and the other side of the state. Kind of defeats the purpose of knowing where she is! 😡 ### 2/5 — Buggy, can’t modify notifications, not intuitive, uses metric *2021-06-22* App crashed a few times. Also annoying can’t modify what kind of notifications you get, I only want it to beep when there is SOS from the kid or something urgent. What do you think happens when you give a 5yo a smart watch? Lots and lots of emojis. Phone beeps all the time and it’s annoying. Layout is not intuitive, like the text messages are in an area called “Voice Chat,” which doesn’t make sense. Also some of the error messages are in Chinese. ### 4/5 — Mom’s best friend! *2020-10-12* As a mom, I would love it if my child called me from their watch to tell me that they arrived at their friends house unscratched after riding their bicycle or that they made it safely to the bottom of the ski slope while going ahead of me. ### 5/5 — Amazing watch for kids! *2020-09-12* My 9 year old son absolutely loves this watch! The features are exactly what you would hope for in a smart watch for kids. I love that it has a GPS tracker with automatic location updates. He absolutely loves that he now has his own phone number, and it is so great that we can call each other. The reception is so clear and it is a perfect alternative if you feel like your child is too young to have their own cellphone. He also loves that it tracks his steps, and once school goes back to in-person learning, the class mode will be very helpful. They’ve really thought of everything! I already used the FaceTime feature. We lost two (both kids) watches and I was relieved I would have to mess with the “two” yes, two apps you need for this device. Why do we need two apps??? - who knows. Super confusing… We’ll we found on watch phone and I was relieve you here they updated their apps… I’m back on and… It’s like another part time job making sure the phones work and The kids can call from them. 80% of the time they can’t call out and when I call them it goes to voicemail. Anyway I’ve had nothing but trouble. Honestly I’d go with another kids phone service unless you really like to mess with technology. Después cambié para el # 2 y este no lo pude conectar nunca al plan de datos , el cual me seguían cobrando si estar utilizando ningún reloj . Les envié email para la cancelación de los datos y dijeron que si que iban a cancelar . Y no cancelaron nada , siguieron cobrando los 19.99 casa mes desde abril que el reloj no sirvió más . Volví a comunicarme para que me rembolsaran lo que me estaban cobrando , y me dijeron que ellos no habían recibido ningún email, les envié la foto en donde lo decía bien claro . Aún así me dijeron que no me iban hacer ningún rembolso. Son una estafa de compañía y unos viles descarados. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2021-11-19* My daughter received the watch in September as a birthday present we have never been able to get it to work. I logged out of the app to try and see if logging back in would fix the issue only to be unable to log back in. Customer support scolded me for logging out of the app as if that was the source of all the issues. After an hour with two different support people they were unable to fix my issue and the watch is still unusable. Do not waste your money. ### 1/5 — Do NOT Buy this watch! Company steals! *2021-10-05* Company took my money over and over but still NO working watch!! The watch is constantly not working. The time and date don’t change all day- staying at 10am - and /or it is never working on location! Told me my son was in another state 2,000 miles away when he was in same town- 15miles away. Not able to text my son or via Versa- no Location, my phone app disappeared and when called to ask what happen, they kept me on hold and phone for over an hour then said he couldn’t help and would have another department call me back. There has been no call back and it has been five days! I have phoned and left messages, still no answer, but they took money out of my credit card account- again for a watch that doesn’t work and app is off line. ### 1/5 — GPS not good *2021-09-03* GPS is trash. Rarely updates location. Offline about half of the time so unable to message or call watch. GPS had the location to a complete different state once while the watch was literally in the same house as me. ### 1/5 — This whole system is trash *2021-08-23, version 1.0.5* Nothing works with any regularity. I can never see where the kids are…I can’t even sign into the app now. Then the so-called help screen won’t even send me a code to reset my password…. ### 1/5 — Poor customer service and product *2021-08-20* GPS is nothing like they are saying. I have called number of times to complain and I get no where. The GPS is saying my child is one place when I know she is not where it’s saying she is. There is one time where I called the school because it says she is in a whole different city and not in school. The school said no she is in school and even let me speak to her. I don’t recommend this to my worse enemy ### 1/5 — Poor geo fencing feature *2021-06-15* I got the app and as I tried to create the geo fencing tool around my neighborhood it only had a minimum of 200 meters, or about 50 houses. This is horrible and I am unable to use this feature at home while my child is outside. Maybe it works for a school which is a large area. Overall the geofencing is horrible. ### 1/5 — Trash *2021-04-30* It worked OKAY for the first month. Every other time I checked it, it would say “offline” for no apparent reason. And then after COSMO charges me the next month, it has been disconnected and I never got a response back after I emailed customer support about it. And didn’t get my money back. Do NOT get the watch or pay for this app. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2021-11-15* I bought this watch to keep track of my child and have a line of communication. However that is not what I received. The location was always inaccurate, in a different state and after several attempts the problem was not corrected. We try to limit the tech exposure our children have as they are young and definitely are not ready for phones yet. With that being said, we live in a different world and it is so important to know that my kids are safe no matter where they are. Here is why: (I wrote this review also in another platform, but I feel it reflects my experience, so sorry if you read it again) It does what it says in Cosmo website. With this Geolocation feature I KNOW where is my son, which gives me peace of mind. I can call my son and he can call me anytime from anywhere. It's a big deal when he is 4 years old. And if he just need some encouragement, he send me a short voice text, and I reply "Good Job!". It makes a huge difference in his confidence. This Cosmo Smartwatch definitely contributed to build our father-son relationship. ### 5/5 — best in class 👏 *2020-09-29* i’ve been on a mission to find a workable solution for tracking and communicating with my kids that isn’t obtrusive, buggy, or loaded up with unnecessary features. imo cosmo is best in class. cool enough for my 11yo to never leave home without it and easy enough for my 4yo to use all of the features competently. 2020 has taught us you never know what’s around the corner. knowing where my kids are at every moment gives me peace of mind. ### 5/5 — Great Value, Great Controls *2020-09-29* Loving the Cosmo watch so far. We want them to be safe, to know where they are going, we want them to call if anything goes wrong, while also protecting their social intake. Cosmo watch is an amazing tool for parents in that in-between stage with their children. Letting kids be kids just a tad longer! ### 5/5 — Peace of mind for parents everywhere *2020-09-28* My littles (11 and 5) are too young to have cell phones but in this day and age staying in contact with my kids and making sure they stay safe is my top priority as a parent. I got two watches as surprise presents for them (and peace of mind for me) and not only do they LOVE them but I am also able to go about my daily routine knowing that they can text or call me from their watch at any time. Whether they are waiting for a school pickup from the babysitter or on a field trip with after school club, I can see exactly where they are and make sure they are safe and sound. Cosmo has given my family reassurance that no matter where my kids may be that day, they are never out of touch if they need help, or just to keep me updated with a quick video chat.
