I had accrued a lot of recipes and ingredients on the app as well as saved quotes. I came to retrieve a quote and found that it had deleted everything, to say I wasn’t happy is an understatement! Tried to contact them but no response ! ### 3/5 — Pretty happy so far *2022-08-11, version 2.3* This is a good and helpful App, but it would be 5 stars if only the developers added the ability for an iCloud sync across devices. Also, changing a recipe name does not stick. It allows you to go through the motions to change the name but immediately reverts back to the original name once you save the change. ### 2/5 — A basic app that could be a lot better *2022-02-09, version 2.3* For what I paid for the app I think it’s over rated. I wanted a one off payment app rather than a subscription based costing app and I thought this would do the job. I needed it to be a time saver for when it’s my admin days and to help me keep track of my recipes and costs, but also invoices etc. I spent a good hour going through everything and I have to say this app is so basic and long winded, that I am disappointed. There isn't a help section on how to use the app for one. You have to manually input all of the ingredients and costs per gram or kg which is fine to a degree but sooo long winded. You only have the option of putting how much you want per hour in settings and that’s it. It doesn’t even incorporate that into your costs from what I could tell. When you get round to creating a recipe the ingredients list is a scroll barrel you have to scroll through the whole list if you want to add something such as olives or sugar … it will take you a while. The ability to jump to the ingredient or letter would be a great addition. You will also have to input your extras such as bake time, shop time, utilities etc and you will need to work these out for yourself. Maybe a guide to, would help? I expected more from the app, my mistake. I had previously used an app called cakeulater but it is no longer available by the original creators. I had hoped there was the option of inputting a % of profit and a break down of costs per unit and whole costs. Invoice option and client details, but no. I could go on more but I won’t. I hope the developers take on board the customer reviews and update their app to actually reflect its user base requirements. This has been done and I still love, just got to take time for me to update ingredients, recipes and miscellaneous items as mine did not move over with new update. I find it the easiest app for cake pricing on the market. App no longer works. **Developer response:** We have just launched an update, please check it out! ### 3/5 — Pros and Cons *2018-03-17* Pros: I love that you can add your own recipes and pantry items and then you’re able to make a quote from those lists. Cons: It doesn’t allow you to use teaspoons or tablespoons. I have to go to my browser to find correct amounts in percentages and grams. It also doesn’t have where you can use a partial recipe. I may not need an entire batch of buttercream for a quote. I would also love to see an option for editing titles of your recipes/quotes. I just updated to an iPhone 7 and I’m not able to use the app on ios11. It was brilliant and helped save loads of time. It now closes the app every time you click of quotes. I’ve tried emailing and sending messages via messenger (they are read) but I’ve been ignored.
