Stocking information isn’t great - Cold Brew is almost always marked as out-of-stock, but when I go to the outlet, they have it. Biggest gripe: the app requires a local phone number. It never uses the phone number, but requires you to verify it with an OTP to order. This means that whenever I have visitors at work, all the coffee is on me. When I reached them in Instagram, they said they will contact me to sort it out. Tried to upload receipt and contact Costa via “contact us” feature but they didn’t even bother to reply. Worst developers’ work ever. ### 1/5 — I cannot buy from a place that supports LGBT *2023-08-08, version 5.0.1* I used to think that costa coffee was the best in town. Now that they decided to support actions that are against all religions and against humanity when they used their campaign in England supporting transgender. I think that they lost their specialty of making good coffee and healthy sandwiches. Ever since Coca cola bought this franchise, we see some branches in Dubai understaffed and the staff are overwhelmed. My whole family and I have been a costumer to costa for more than 30 years in Egypt, Jordan and UAE. I am talking about a big family of cousins, siblings, uncles, grandchildren etc. We are all boycotting it now and fetching a coffee house that focuses on roasting coffee and paying their staff not paying their money to support something that will help end population one day and against all religions in the whole world. I was addicted. After that experience, I always rave Costa matcha coffee with other friends and they love it too. The staff is amazing, particularly in University Hospital Sharjah.
