## What is CostBook Ledger?

Keep the everyday details of your money in one clear place. CostBook brings quick entry, flexible organization and useful reports together, from a coffee purchase to a trip or a recurring subscription.

YOUR INVESTMENTS, WITH THEIR OWN VIEW
Create investment books and manually record cost, profit or loss, fees and holding dates. Distinguish pending and settled entries, review net returns, return rates, annualized returns and win rate, and explore category/account contributions and monthly reports. Tap question marks for calculation rules. Investment records support bulk editing, complete backups and CSV migration.

ENTER IT YOUR WAY
Add a transaction from the home screen or use the full editor for accounts, categories, tags, notes and attachments. Record expenses, income, transfers, borrowing and lending, including zero-value transactions. Edit, duplicate or delete existing entries. Show or hide the home quick-entry panel to suit your routine.

KEEP DIFFERENT PARTS OF LIFE ORGANIZED
Create separate books for daily spending, travel or a home project. Manage account balances, use parent and child categories, and group transactions with tags. Categories can be available across books or assigned to one book.

UNDERSTAND YOUR SPENDING
Review income, expenses and balance by month, year or a custom date range. Explore category charts, line and bar trends, and weekly, monthly or annual summaries. Open the transactions behind a report, including records in archived books.

PLAN WITH BUDGETS
Set weekly, monthly or annual limits for total spending and individual categories. See progress, remaining amounts and overspending. Parent-category budgets include their child categories.

FOLLOW REFUNDS AND REIMBURSEMENTS
Record partial or full refunds and distinguish pending reimbursements from paid ones. Expense totals deduct refunds and paid reimbursements. Unposted transactions and those excluded from totals remain in your records without adding to income or expense totals.

FIND AND ORGANIZE
Search related names and notes, or match an original amount converted to CNY. Combine eight filters for type, book, account, category, tag, inclusion in totals, unposted transactions and pending reimbursement. Bulk-edit amounts, categories, accounts, books, notes, dates and tags, or delete multiple transactions together.

KEEP YOUR RECORDS USEFUL
Schedule daily, weekly, monthly or yearly transaction rules. Choose a display currency, record multiple currencies and adjust exchange rates. Import or export transaction CSV files, or create complete backups with attachments and settings. Choose local or iCloud folders for manual and automatic backups, and hide amounts when you need to.

Available in Simplified and Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French and Russian, or follow your system language.
