By tracking your receipts and reminding you to request a price adjustment on time, you can make the most of your Costco membership and never miss a refund opportunity.

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription and is NOT required to use the app. It adds:

Price: $29.99 per year, billed annually and auto-renewing. A free trial may be offered to new subscribers; the trial length and the price charged afterwards are always shown on the purchase screen before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your account settings after purchase.

### 1/5 — Can’t create account because email is used

I can’t create an account because my email is already in use, password reset link never comes so I can’t reset the password. What exactly are you doing with my email? This app should get a zero if possible.

When I first started using this about a year ago, it was great. I forgot about this app for several months and then today I wanted to start using it again. I tried to take a photo of the receipt and it will not upload saying I need to check my Internet connection. However, I am connected to the Internet and I have lots of bars. 

I did notice that it said 3/3 in the top right corner after I took the photo and nowhere. Where can I find on this app what that means? As far as I know, this is supposed to be a free app.

I’m pretty disappointed because I really liked using this in the beginning

I added my receipt with a 300.00 computer monitor. One week later the monitor went on sale, 30.00 off. The app did not notify me or even notice. My local warehouse was correctly added at setup too. I’ll still be manually checking my stores app to match prices.

Takes me at least two or three attempts before the receipt is successfully uploaded. OCR isn’t great it has poor accuracy interpreting numbers. Recent receipt was interpreted as 2026. No manual override ability to correct and really, there should be a limiter in place to prevent future dates. Also, I also keep getting notifications of price drops on items I never purchased. 

Been using the app now for just over 2 months, have received zero benefit vs the amount of time and energy I’ve expended. Will likely end up rage deleting unless it improves substantially.

I shop at Costco pretty regularly, but I always forget to check if something I bought went on sale after I purchased it. The Costrefund app totally solved that for me.

It automatically tracks the prices of stuff I’ve bought and lets me know if the price drops. I recently got back $30 on a TV just because the app caught a price drop and reminded me to request a refund. Super easy—I just followed the steps it gave me, and Costco sent the difference back.

Honestly, I didn’t even know Costco offered price adjustments until I got this app. Now I don’t have to constantly check prices or worry I missed a deal. It basically does all the work for me.

Only downside? Sometimes syncing receipts takes a little while. But still—free money back? I’m not complaining.

Highly recommend if you shop at Costco and want to get the most out of it.

### 2/5 — A good app in theory - if it worked.

I was invited to be a tester when the app first launched, and for the first couple weeks it seemed good. Then it stopped working; every time I try to upload a new receipt it says “you’ve already uploaded this receipt”, but yet it isn’t in my history. Customer service is nonexistent at this point.

- The update prompt no longer errors out in the background.
