I had a wonderful French Onion Soup, Steak Frites and Cheeseplate while my husband enjoyed a Charcuterie plate, Steak Frites and a fab Chocolate Praline Tart and all for £19 each. Not only was this excellent value but the food was delicious, served piping hot and service from a gentleman called Ilia was exemplary. We will look forward to returning very soon. The staff there are doing their best. The starter was very good but the main was cool not hot. The APP is appalling and when it came to pay did NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS which is not mentioned at all. So ten frustrating minutes later the manager who was amazing said I’m sorry but the app does not accept it and unless you have another card I am unable to give you the January special. If you are a major restaurant chain you need to sort out the APP before you go live with it. Not recommended. ### 3/5 — Don’t all pay at once! *2026-04-21* There’s an issue with the app if you pay at the same time via the ‘split the bill’ button. The first person will be ok, but the others will either end up paying all the bill or have payment declined. It took an hour for us to try and resolve, and we are still £100 over pay, and Cote tried to deduct another payment from my bank 20 hours after leaving the restaurant. There’s only an email to contact and no real support in the restaurant. The same group had the same issue in another Cote branch paying via split the bill. ### 3/5 — Disappointing *2026-01-20* We were attracted by the online offer and had two courses which were quite good . When we came to pay we were told that the offer did not apply at that restaurant and we were were not allowed to use our Blue Light Card. What should have cost us £36 cost us £51. Goodbye Cote!! ### 5/5 — Superb *2026-05-15* Had a memorial birthday meal to celebrate my late Son’s birthday. Everything was delicious and the service provided by Aga was first class. Thank you so much. ### 5/5 — Date Night *2026-05-07* My wife and I attended Cotes Cheltenham on a date night and took advantage of the £20 three course meal consisting of French Onion Soup, Pork Belly (Mains) and Crème Brûlée for desert.
