Since it’s been some time since I used the ap, it wasn’t easy to figure out how to edit them since I wanted different sides. ### 2/5 — Fried fish *2024-10-02* Yesterday I went to the Chickasha Oklahoma location and ordered the fried fish dinner. First the customer service was amazing 5 stars. The restaurant was clean! I got my order to go. When I got back to my hotel room and opened the container the fish looked and was severely overcooked and super oily! It looked as if someone had ordered it earlier in the day and canceled the order and when I placed my order they just refried it! The batter to fish ratio was horrible. The filets were super thin and the batter was two or three times thicker than the fish! I could only take a couple bites! It was inedible! The fries hush puppies and salad were the star of the show. I will continue to go to that location for now because the chicken fried steak and jalapeño gravy is amazing. Had the Herb crusted Pecan maple glaze flounder. It is probably the best thing I have ever eaten. I also had baked squash and that glaze seeped over on to it. There is no search feature and often you have to enter the item a second time for it to be accepted. Of course, since you’re under new management, the higher ups have no experience and will do everything to go out of business. This goes on while the local staff suffers. The scoop of vanilla ice cream was good. The cobbler on the other hand was a disgrace to cobblers everywhere. It was about 1” thickness and the size of your hand. It was made with bottom and top layers of pie dough sheets and 2 slices of canned peaches inside the whole thing. 2…yes…only 2!!! Plus paid $6.50. Said something to the waiter and it’s the normal, “Sorry” and walks away. The overcooked shrimp were tough. The broccoli-rice had no flavor. The salad was good but came out after the entree. When I mentioned these concerns, the server just walked away. I decided to try using the app tonight and delivery and it took me an hour and a half to get the app to function and process my order. It kept having technical difficulties messaging me to try again in a few minutes. It was very frustrating. The 2 seating hostesses told us 25 minute wait. We were ok with that. We could see not very many people at the restaurant and assumed they were short staffed. We were seated at 7:30. The person behind us eating alone was seated shortly after us. The waiter came to wait on the table in front of us which we had not seen enter and assumed she had been seated before we arrived. He told her the kitchen was backed up and it may take awhile. She ordered. He then waited on the person seated after us. I counted 12 employees in Cotton Patch tshirts. I know not all could wait tables but we waited another 10 minutes without being acknowledged. We will not be back. We have been coming there from 75238 frequently the past year. Each time the service has gotten slightly worse. We left the Wylie location for the same reason. And while we we waiting 2 other sets of couples walked in and waited 2-3 minutes but no hostess ever greeted them so they all left. ### 1/5 — Not a happy customer *2023-05-21, version 2.2* I was very disappointed today because after waiting over an hour for our food they come to the table and say….we are out of baked potatoes and to top it off you are still paying the price of pork chops and you only get one now. This particular day I got off of work from a long day And I noticed the parking lot was fairly empty. I was afraid it was time for them to close, but when I walked up to the door, it was still unlocked so I went in and I was offered to order in or take out. Needless to say, since I had a long day, I decided to order in. And the young woman that assisted me was actually the host and not the server and her name is Vonda and let me tell you this if you ever go to Cotton patch in Lewisville, Vonda is the one to see. She definitely deserves a raise With high recognition. When I come back, I want her to be my server because she was just that amazing. Not only was she amazing but the food was fresh. It was proportioned perfectly, and it was so awesome. So therefore, I also give my compliments to the chef. During the time I was there, I did not feel rushed, and I felt extremely comfortable while I ate my food and got full for the night. Thank you very much Vonda for making me feel at home in like a special guest. Thank you, Cotton Patch for being the home of home Cookin’.
