## What is Countdown?

Countdown helps you keep track of the dates that matter: birthdays, vacations, weddings, deadlines, anniversaries. Add an event and see at a glance how many days are left (or how many have passed).

FOR EVERYONE
• Add an event in a few taps: tap "+", enter a title and a date, done
• 8 theme colors to tell your events apart
• List, small grid or large grid view
• Two Home Screen widgets: your upcoming events, or a single event of your choice
• Your preferred date format, Dark Mode and a setting for long titles
• Search by name
• Your events are also saved to a file you can find in the Files app

COUNTDOWN PRO
An optional one-time purchase. No subscription.
• Background images: pick one of 20 built-in backgrounds or use your own photos
• 4 more fonts besides the system one: Rounded, Serif, Monospace and Condensed
• Any color you like for each event, beyond the 8 presets
• Unlimited events (without Pro you can create up to 3; sample events don't count)

Already bought Countdown? Pro is yours, forever, and there's nothing you need to do: everything stays just as it was. If it doesn't show as active, open Settings → Countdown Pro in the app and tap "Restore purchases".

NATIVE, OFFLINE, CLEAN
Countdown is built in SwiftUI, native to iPhone and iPad: fast, light and right at home on iOS. It works entirely offline. No ads, no accounts, no tracking, no third-party SDKs: your events stay on your device.

Available on iPhone and iPad, in more than 30 languages.

### 4/5 — Top App - rechnet leider falsch

*2025-12-22*

Schöne App ohne Schnörkel. Sehr gut. 👍

### 2/5 — Widget not found

*2025-07-21, version 1.4.1*

iOS 16 iPhone SE can’t find the widget.

### 5/5 — Excellente appli, très utile, quelques suggestions !

*2025-05-11*

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2025-04-12, version 1.4*

It’d be great to add font size options for small and large widgets to make them look more balanced and easier to read.

### 1/5 — En anglais seulement

*2025-02-09*

### 3/5 — Super simple and easy to use just one issue

*2020-05-28, version 1.3.1*

The countdown counter is “reversed” as to how I would expect it to be shown.

If I am counting down to Christmas I would expect to see this as 210 days to go and not -210. Past events I would also find easier to comprehend as negatives showing the event has expired.

An option / setting to alter the view would make this very useful.

### 3/5 — Application simple mais simpliste

*2019-10-03*

### 4/5 — Change date order.

*2019-10-01, version 1.3.1*

I’d prefer to see the date as Month/Day/Year thanks

### 4/5 — It’s ok

*2019-10-01*

Need widget
