This app started as a countdown I made for my family.

Hello, my name is Sergei. I’m the solo developer behind Events.
In the spring of 2025, I found out I was going to be a father for the second time.
I was so excited that I kept checking how much time was left until the baby arrived.

But none of the apps I tried had a widget that was both beautiful and free.
So I built one – Events, an app that helps you track the time until the moments you wait for.
It combines thoughtful design with real affordability.

Shame, because when I downloaded this it was great. The widget worked exactly as it was supposed to, the countdown was perfect and the icons looked great. All of a sudden last week the widget stopped working- I opened the app and my countdown had disappeared. I made a new one, but the icons had changed. Now, I have to open the app for the widget to update! This was such a good app, but greed has no bounds I guess. I don’t even mind the ads if the app would work.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review! As we discussed earlier, I am already performing an investigation and for now there are no changes found that could raise the issue. The widget has scheduled updates, however iOS system decides how often to do it based on different factors such as user interaction frequency, battery and system resources. This is open information freely available on the internet.

However, thank you for finding time to leave a request, I will continue the investigation and fix the issue as soon as possible if there is any.
