## What is Countdown Keeper?

Countdown answers one simple question: how long until — or since — this event?

Add anything that matters — a birthday, a trip, a wedding, an exam, a deadline, salary day, a warranty or a visa — and Countdown shows a live counter to the moment, or tells you exactly how much time has passed since it. No sign-up and no clutter: you open the app and see your counters.

Every event flips from "counting down" to "counting up" on its own the moment its date arrives, so your timeline stays honest without you touching a thing.

Countdown speaks both calendars. Count any event in Gregorian or in the Hijri (Umm al-Qura) calendar, choose the right calendar for each event individually, and switch how dates are shown across the whole app at any time.

• Count down to a future event, or up since a past one
• Live counters that update every second
• Choose exactly which units to show — years, months, days, hours, minutes, seconds
• Both calendars: Gregorian and Hijri (Umm al-Qura), per event
• Monthly recurring events like salary, rent and subscriptions, rolling forward to the next date automatically
• Reminders before an event — at the time, a day before, or a week before
• Repeat a reminder after 5 or 10 minutes, with "Remind again" from the reminder history
• A bell marks any event that has a reminder set
• Give each event an emoji icon or your own photo, and pick a card colour
• Several card styles for your list and home screen
• Pin your most important events to the home screen
• Suggested event templates to start quickly
• Built-in date tools: Hijri ↔ Gregorian converter, age calculator, date difference, add & subtract days, and a retirement estimator
• Create a backup of your events and restore it whenever you need
• Export and import your events as a JSON file
• Optional app lock with fingerprint or Face ID
• Full Arabic and English, right-to-left ready

Countdown is more than a reminder app. It is a calm, living timeline of the moments that matter to you — the ones you are waiting for, and the ones you want to remember.

Instead of doing the math in your head or digging through a calendar, keep every important date in one simple place and always know, at a glance, exactly where you stand.

Start free and add up to 5 events.
When you need more, you can purchase the full version to add more events and use Countdown beyond the free event limit.

Countdown needs no account, works fully offline, and your data stays on your device.
