## What is Countdown+ Widget?

Countdown+ does one thing: it tells you how many days are left. Big number, small label, nothing else.

• Yearly and monthly repeats for birthdays and anniversaries
• Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy widgets
• Optional photo per countdown
• Share a countdown as a link
• Live Activity for the last 24 hours
• Reminders: on the day, one day, one week or one month before
• Twilight, dark and accent app icons
• Export and import as JSON
• No account. No subscription. No ads. No tracking.
• Countdown+ Pro (one-time purchase): widget styles with colors and gradients

And a few Easter eggs. Twelve of them. Good luck.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-29

Hi there! Version 1.0.1 brings a fresh look and lots of small improvements:

• A new dark app icon. Prefer the old one? Pick "Twilight" in Settings → Appearance.
• New widget themes in the icon's colors, right in the Widget Studio (Pro).
• Live Activity: you choose how early it starts, from 1 to 8 hours before.
• The + button now sits bottom right, easy to reach with your thumb.
• Search (from 10 countdowns) moved up, next to sort and filter.
• Clearer dates in the list: "today", "tomorrow · 9:00 AM" or "in 8 weeks".
• The Lock Screen widget shows your countdown's symbol, and its clock no longer gets cut off.
• The list stays easy to read with very large text.
• Lots of small widget fixes.

Happy counting down! Enjoying the app? A rating on the App Store helps a lot. Thank you!
