Make the wait part of the fun. Count down to your next birthday, holiday or big moment—or count the days since a memory worth keeping close.

Bring those moments to your Home and Lock Screen with photo widgets that feel like you. This update makes photo countdowns easier to read, with clearer text over busy backgrounds and larger lettering on big Hero cards.

Want a background as unique as your plans? Create one with Apple’s Image Playground on supported devices running iOS 27 or later. Choose the Hero look in the editor, then tap Create Background.

Your upcoming plans and past milestones are easier to find, too. Tap the title above your countdowns to switch between upcoming, past and all events. Large numbers now keep the size you chose, even when space is tight.

Start your first countdown for free. No ads. No subscriptions. Premium is yours with a one-time purchase.
