Compared to the reviews, only Australia is free and they want you to pay to get more continents with different countries inside. ### 1/5 — Purchase required *2023-07-04, version 2.8* This app requires in app purchases to do anything, which I thought was against Apple's rules. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-02-25, version 2.7* It makes you watch a 30s ad before telling you that you need to pay to access more countries. Don't be tricked into paying to 'upgrade' as this app has nothing to offer. The world map looks OK, but this App lacks any real information. For each country there is a single page where you are told the currency, capital city and flag...that's it! There is also a space for a picture of an native animal or 'interesting' building but many are missing. It doesn't even include all the countries in each continent, missing out most of the Baltic States. The age rating for this App is 4+ but I can't see anyone over 4 finding this a huge disappointment. Total waste of money. ### 3/5 — Cute app but..... *2014-05-18, version 2.3* This is a cute app for kids with lots of good information about different countries. Unfortunately, I can't give it five stars because the narrator is not a native English speaker and frequently mispronounces the names of the countries in other words. Our daughter loves this app but I need to keep correcting her on the pronunciation of several countries and that is confusing for her. The woman's voice is lovely, but the mispronunciations are annoying. For example (and there are many of these) DOM-ni-can Republic instead of do-MIN-i-can Republic, and Communist ra-JYME instead of regime.
