I thought i’ll take a moment to review it as I thought of using it again but then changed my mind from past experiences. The subscription request keeps coming up and it doesn’t make sense to keep it, as it doesn’t really result in real savings. Keeping things simple for customers who simply are looking for no frills service should be an option. Prices for certain items could be managed as not everything you sell are differentiated items with really good quality. Although milk and other dairy products are still ok, bit then the weight is less. Although if quality is good then that is not a problem. Biggest issue was your notifications and the unrelenting pop ups requesting to sign up for subscription, which is not useful for everyone. There is much hype about the quality and service. Though milk quality is good but they can’t boast that they are the only ones providing it. The worst thing about CD is their manipulative pricing and service. They bully you into buying the VIP membership and after you buy it, they treat you less than ordinary. Suddenly their delivery boy disappears and later on a message appears citing delay in delivery. This delay turns into non delivery and then a message citing sincere apology pops up. Yaar..! If there’s a sincere apology why do you keep it repeating the same mistake after every 2-3 days..? Also in case of missed deliveries u do not even care to compensate the consumer. Plus CD pricing is far above the market standards even after buying vip membership. Instead of offering cashbacks, memberships etc., why cant u guys keep the things simple..? Even a genuinely higher price may be acceptable. Now an added intimidation is the quantity.. instead of a normal 500ml pack, CD offers 450ml, 180g is their new 200g. Even at such high prices, we do not get a standard quantity. This is how u manipulate.. Tired of your bullying, This is very intimidating. You have a subscription model which is fine but there should be an option to get things at any given time. App shows that you can get order in the next 20 minutes and just when I added all the things and went to the checkout page, it shows me a message saying this order can be placed after 6 AM tomorrow morning. Plus, you don’t give product ingredient details openly which can make anyone suspicious of the ingredient quality for any product like oils and other grocery items. I tried tapping on to the product images but can’t see any product’s details. Also, theres no information of offers like free milk for 4 days on the app. The UI is so difficult to understand, can’t figure out which section to go to find something. You asked to pay VIP charges at the beginning which is too high plus you ask to add money to the wallet in advance to purchase anything which again adds stress as you have to keep a track of how much amount was deducted on which purchase. Your partners in good health, Team Country Delight ### 1/5 — Extremely Unprofessional and Disappointing Service *2025-02-03* I had a terrible experience with this dairy delivery app. They were supposed to call me for my first delivery, but I received no call at all. Instead, they falsely marked the order as ‘delivered’ when it clearly wasn’t. When I reached out to customer care, they were dismissive, claiming the order was delivered but might have been stolen—which is completely false. I have CCTV cameras covering my property, and there’s no sign of any delivery attempt. What’s worse is their lack of accountability. They didn’t bother to investigate, showed no concern about resolving the issue, and shockingly, they don’t even have contact information for their delivery partners. This shows how poorly managed their operations are. I strongly advise others to avoid this app if you’re expecting reliable service and proper customer support. Extremely disappointed with their unprofessional attitude. ### 1/5 — Very Bad! *2024-10-02, version 4.9.16* Poor service, poor app and poor customer support. ### 1/5 — Country Delight is fraud *2024-08-01* I have been using country delight for past few months as its over hyped on internet and with paid reviews i was being fooled and my friends too. They have this scheme of VIP membership with 40% but the membership price is the initial amount we add then we have to add money in the wallet as guided by country delight customer care. My membership was expiring on 1st aug but the amount was charged 4 days before and told me my membership was already expired and they added buffer dates for me. Milk for 45rs such an adulterated one with all lab proof and test. Local milk gets spoiled because they have bacteria in it and country delight milk never gets spoiled. Once accidentally i forgot to take the milk in the morning and in the evening by 07:00 i was stepping out and the milk packet was at my door. I was stressed that i lost milk but when boiled it was fine that was when i was fooled. These IIM alumni have been fooling us around and we pay double the amount then the local market. Team Country Delight ### 1/5 — Beaware *2024-07-19* The company is the biggest fraud of all time. Earlier, it used to have a premium membership plan that allowed you to use benefits up to a certain amount. To a shocking revelation, I found that if they are giving a 90% discount on certain items, they will charge you 90 percent of the benefit amount. Now that the membership distribution system has been changed, they will give you certain discounts without any limits on benefits. But still, after paying $400 for membership benefits, you still need to buy vegetables worth $100 to avoid delivery charges on top of handling charges. Additionally, I found price differences on two different phones; mine was higher because I had already bought a membership. I do appreciate the milk products of the company, but if you order them through the instant delivery channel, you will get only 450 ml. All milk products and vegetables have been cut down by 50–100 grams to give the illusion that you are buying products close to 1 kg or half kg. Along with getting the kids ready for school to packing lunch, everything seems challenging and I hardly get any time left for a small tasks like buying milk or groceries. But since I started using country delight, I got relief from atleast one major - that is ordering daily milk, ghee, coconut water, etc. I simply recharge my account and order daily essential from here every morning, fresh meal is delivered at the doorstep.
