## What is Countstead?

Countstead helps small businesses know what they have, where it is, and what is running low—without adopting an ERP or warehouse system.

Count kitchen stock in kg and litres, set low-stock levels, and export a stocktake.

WORK OFFLINE
Keep items, counts, locations, and history available on your iPhone or iPad without an internet connection. No account is required for local use.

SCAN AND FIND ITEMS
Use the camera to scan a barcode or QR code and find an item you already track, or prefill its code when creating a new item. Countstead reads codes on device and does not query an external product catalogue.

TRACK EVERY MOVEMENT
Record stock in, stock out, recounts, corrections, and transfers. Each change is added to a clear activity history so the original record remains visible.

KNOW WHAT IS WHERE
Track balances by location and move stock explicitly between shelves, vans, storerooms, and storefronts.

CATCH LOW STOCK
Set a threshold for an item at a location, then use the Low Stock report to see what needs attention.

BRING YOUR DATA WITH YOU
Import up to 10,000 rows from CSV. Export items, locations, balances, events, transfers, and activity as a documented CSV package.

Countstead is iPhone-first and adapts to iPad. Local inventory remains usable without an account or connection.
