Also it takes a couple of days to get new news! While scrolling it jumps to other sections or shows a black screen and goes back to the front page. Very annoying. Contact the Philadelphia Inquirer on how to do it right. ### 2/5 — App Challenges *2024-07-14* I consistently have trouble with the app on my iPhone. Often, it will not open or it opens and then quickly closes. While in the app, I prefer to use the enewspaper. When I get to the Sports section, an advertisement begins to load, but doesn’t load. I have to skip to the next page for the stories that started on the first page of sports. Additionally, while in the app reading an article, the app suddenly closes. It has gotten worse. It no longer fits properly to my iPad screen in landscape mode. Also when you magnify you can no longer scroll completely to the bottom of the screen. If app doesn’t improve I will have to cancel subscription. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2023-10-14* The updated app frequently freezes up, I’m hoping for improvement. ### 4/5 — Much improved but still can do a bit better *2023-10-07* Recent updates of the app now make it possible to view the e-newspaper edition in full-screen mode like the older e-newspaper only app. It still is a bit cumbersome to change editions to other e-newspapers, sometimes requiring closing the app and re-opening it, but overall, it is now a worthy replacement for the e-newspaper only reader app. Thanks for the changes. But haven’t been able to open the eNewspaper portion for over a week. Either get a blank screen or a rolling scan going left to right with no text showing.
