The golf scorecard for people who play with their mates. One shared card, a leaderboard that updates hole by hole, and 22,000 courses that keep working when the signal doesn't. Golf with mates is really just a long walk occasionally interrupted by finding someone's ball in a bush. CourseMate handles the scoring so you can focus on the search party. It's golf the way it's meant to be played, with your mates, plenty of wind-ups, and an honest record of who actually had the better day. Saturday four-ball or a quiet Tuesday nine, everyone's in the same round on the same screen. EVERYONE ON ONE CARD, LIVE Drop a room code in the group chat and your mates jump straight in. The leaderboard updates hole by hole, gross or net, so everyone knows exactly where they stand walking up the 18th. Under-the-bonnet work so the app stays quick as your round history grows, plus a handful of small fixes. ### 2.5 — 2026-07-25 What's New in 2.5 Life happens mid-round Someone's got to shoot off after the 6th? Phone died on the back nine? The new Players menu has you covered. Players can leave a round and keep every hole they've played, the host can score on a mate's behalf until their phone comes back to life, and anyone can be marked as left and restored if they wander back from the clubhouse. The host can hand over the reins Hosts are human too. Pass the hosting duties to another player before you head off, or if the host vanishes mid-round, anyone can step up and take over, so a round never gets stuck waiting on one phone. Standings, now with faces Live Standings has had a glow-up. It slides up over your round, shows everyone's avatar (frames and all), and a new Scorecard view lets you flick through the hole-by-hole story of the round so far, birdie circles and bogey squares included. We've also squashed a few minor bugs behind the scenes, including one that could leave a freshly started round stuck on "Opening lobby". ### 2.4 — 2026-07-13 What's New in 2.4 Wear your colours Avatar frames are here. Ring your avatar with a frame that shows up everywhere you do, from the leaderboard to the group chat. Three are free for everyone, with the full set unlocked on Pro. Spotted a dodgy hole? Fix it Course cards aren't always right. Now you can correct a hole's par or distance yourself, at setup or mid-round, and even snap the scorecard as proof. Submit your fix and, once approved, it goes live for the whole community instantly, no app update needed. Can't find your course? Add it Playing somewhere that isn't in the app yet? Add it and share it, and once it's given the nod it shows up in search for everyone. The course list grows every time someone plays somewhere new.
