Has happened all summer. A huge glitch that needs to be fixed. **Developer response:** This is not normal. Please contact us directly so we can help you. Make sure to use the same Apple ID as the initial purchase. This may be some issue with the App Store. The developers are constantly improving it it seems so there are regular updates. With ios 5 I had to delete it and download it again for it to run but that only took a minute. I bought it specifically for a starter trial yesterday and it was not useful at all. It was no better than the paper courses they have at the show itself. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2015-06-22, version 3.0.4* This is the first app I've ever purchased (after owning a smart phone for 8 years!) My first course walk didn't save. I figured it was a glitch since the Internet was kind of shoddy in that area. The next horse trial I tried it again and this area happens to have good internet. I ran into the same issue. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Won't open! *2012-06-27, version 1.5* This app sounds great but I bought it and went to use it but it crashes shortly after the opening screen every time. I hope they fix this. Good app otherwise. **Developer response:** We haven't experienced this problem. However, you can use the eraser feature to undo the last recorded points. ### 3/5 — Can’t find courses *2024-06-20* I like that I can take pictures and save my own courses. But I can never search any other courses. All I can find are the ones I made and saved. It’s very frustrating. I type in the search the show and literally nothing pops up. No spinning anything that looks like it’s thinking. No course at all. I can’t actually see any courses other than the one I made. And it didn’t even save the picture I took. Disappointing. ### 3/5 — Stops working half way through course! *2022-10-21* I love this app and have used it since 2018. I’ve never had any problems with it until recently…half way through my course I’ll go to take a picture of a fence and the screen will go white! Relying on Google maps or satellite is problematic because the course and its environment change much faster than Google updates their imaging. Also, downloading maps could be less cumbersome if you could ask for all maps from an event at the same time. Then you would be less likely to download Prelim from the Spring when you need the Fall map. **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that the Google Maps sattelite background is not helpful. We also provide the Bing Maps sattelite background. We are not aware of any other sources with better imagery. We will work on improving the search and download of courses by adding date ranges. Also very impressed with how quickly updates, bug fixes and new features get added. One piece of advice: do your first test run at home to get used to a few of the advanced features before rushing out to use at your next event. It was easy to use from day 1, I did a couple of "test" at home before using it for real. If you walk off the course, you can erase the last steps and record them again. Some times, the GPS acts up a little bit, specially under trees, but I have been told that the new version has improved GPS filters. Looking forward to use it and check it again.
