Court Piece (also known as Rang) is a real-time, 4-player online multiplayer card game — play with friends at a table you create, or jump into Quick Play to find an opponent right away. — Create a table and share an invite link, or join one with a code — Quick Play matchmaking, solo or with a friend — Choose Double Sar or Single Sar rules, and how many points win the match — Optional Ace-on-Ace rule — Sign in to track your wins on the leaderboard — or play as a guest, no account needed — Every shuffle is provably fair: the server commits to a shuffle before dealing, and your device can independently verify it after every deal Reconnect seamlessly if you lose connection mid-game — your seat is waiting for you. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.8.18 — 2026-09-22 A refreshed way to play Court Piece. • A new table-style home screen puts Create, Join and Quick Play right at the table. • Tap a player to view their profile, progression, Skill Rating and game record. • Leaderboard standings now require five rated matches, making rankings fairer. • Smarter bots make better partnership decisions and follow Ace-on-Ace rules. • Audio controls and mobile layouts have been refined across the app. ### 1.8.15 — 2026-09-14 This update brings full landscape support to Court Piece: • Rotate your phone sideways for a redesigned table view — a wider felt, seats spread out to use the extra width, and a hand of cards that's easier to read and tap • Works everywhere: Quick Play, private tables with friends, and mid-deal — including the trump-calling screen • Portrait mode is unchanged if you prefer to keep playing that way - New gold crest badge for the "Play Court Piece Online" title, with suit roundels and an engraved metallic wordmark - Table graphic on the home screen redone with real fanned cards, a beveled metal rim, and a glass sheen - Fixed "Tables active" counting tables that hadn't actually started a game yet - Collapsed the "How a hand goes" section by default so the home screen reads cleaner - Fixed Quick Play controls and the account card getting cramped on short landscape phones We also fixed a bug where Quick Play's Find Match, Create Party, and Join Party buttons could silently fail instead of starting a search — matchmaking is back to working reliably. The match-complete screen now shows exactly what happened to your rating: • Won or lost a fully signed-in 4-player match? See your rating move from its old number to its new one, plus a short reason (beat a higher-rated team, still settling in your first 10 rated matches, and so on) • Played with a bot or a guest at the table? The screen tells you plainly that the match wasn't rated and why, instead of leaving you guessing • Playing as a guest yourself? You'll see a one-tap way to sign in with Google or Apple, right there, so your next win actually counts New lobby music — a laid-back jazz-club piano loop replaces the old soundtrack.
