However it doesn’t run in background or keep an iPhone from screen locking so it’s quite frustrating. It’s improving but has work to do. ### 2/5 — 2.0 update is awful!! *2026-07-13, version 2.0* Since the update, the app won’t stay on most of the time. Every once in a while it will stay on, but the majority of the time it will start to dim and then the screen will turn off. So frustrating. ### 2/5 — Minimize/Loose Place *2026-07-10* With the 2.0 update last night I lost so many key features. First prior to update when watching a trials I could save my battery life by going g into a lock screen … basically screen goes black but I was still able to listen to trial using control panel feature on iPhone. Now doesn’t work. Have to have the phone completely on and visually watching trial or else. I’m not able to hear it. Also after the update the app no longer knows where I left off on my trial. In the past, I could go to, for example day 20 of trial, I could open it up to the exact place where I stopped listening. The next day, I wanted to find out the verdict. Ironically, I followed the trial entirely on court TV. But when I looked on your site to find the outcome, I found nothing. Because I couldn’t find anything about the trial on your website, I had to Google the trial. I found multiple sites giving the details of the verdict. But nothing on my court TV app. ### 1/5 — Karmelo Anthony *2026-06-20, version 1.5.9* Poor analyst opinions. The gentleman convicted Anthony using his own opinion not the facts. Plus he shared a dated opinion of track meets and how they operate. His attitude was just like the deceased, hatred was in his voice and on his face and I. His heart June 4 @ 2:21pm. It was a tent and nobody deserves to die for being under the wrong tent! Why was it OK for that kid to have a knife at all? I have tried to send this three times and it won’t send. I have been a court TV advocate for three years. If I cannot leave a comment whether anybody, but the people who wanna know how I feel. I grabbed my cup of coffee every morning and listened to Julie Grant’s Opening Statement. I used to keep CourtTV on the whole day. I no longer do that. I miss CourtTV. ### 3/5 — New Court TV *2026-05-28, version 1.5.9* I hate the new Court TV. It wasn’t broken. I watched Vinnie Politan every single evening and watched a lot of other programming. Miss the old Court TV with Michael and Ashley, and Vinnie debating contributors in-person was way better. Now I have to have app open and if I don’t touch the screen the phone will lock. Can we not keep current. The “new management “ or ownership is terrible. Not sure why you would get rid of some of the best anchors. Then you decide to keep some of the worst, Vinnie, excluded. He is the only reason I half way watch. The channel has gone down hill and I’m very disappointed in the change. I’m not a fan anymore. Sorry but I’ll be watching something else. I know you will make millions but Court TV is not the same and very disappointing. It’s too bad you have decided to go this way. Why can’t I say more? 4/26 Not great.
