Lots of good information and a handy reminder for scheduled pickups. When the schedule can't be met like on snow days the change notifications that are sent out are terrific!

I’m well aware that most cities are absolutely terrible but after living in many different places in Canada Courtenay really rubs me the wrong way. This app is a testimony to the drama and politics that is this city, inadequate garbage pickup, unrealistic expectations and waste of tax dollars. I can’t even express my frustration towards the weekly green bin pickup over garbage. Seeing so many green bins empty and garbage trucks wasting time all the while looking at the overflowing mess when it’s actually garbage day. This app reminds me why it’s important to vote, if you don’t vote you get a city like Courtenay. Who spends more on its app then it does basic services like garbage clean up or road maintenance.

Handy app, but with the last update it only works in portrait mode which is a pain with an iPad

So great to have this information readily available. Love the notifications that come out the night before pick up.  Can’t wait to use the new bins in 2024.  Such a much more efficient and effective approach.

With the trash and recycling pick-up in Courtenay-Comox tied to the inverse declination of the square root of the 7th moon of Alpha Centauri, and beyond that, the fickleness of a private contractor that randomly misses schedules, having this App gives the citizens of the area a fighting chance to get their blue boxes and bins curbside on the correct day!

Excellent app especially with shifting pick up days with stat holidays. Nice reminder of what is picked up each week like recycling. Also appreciate updates when waste won’t be picked up that week.

Sometimes the shifting days after STATS are confusing but one click on the APP clears it all up. Great to have.

I have had no issues with this app.  It has come in handy many times when I missed placed the paper copy.  I eventually threw away the paper copy when there was an error on it and I knew this was always reliable.  Thanks for creating this for us :)
