All individuals that I play with have the same issue. ### 3/5 — Missing or obscured save button for waitlist reservations *2026-04-24, version 6.0.9* Unable to complete court reservations from the waitlist notification since the Save button is hidden/obscured by the app UI. Observed multiple times in the IOS app on iPhone 13 mini. Save button visible and usable in the same flow in the web app on desktop OS. ### 2/5 — No live update or refresh feature *2026-04-06, version 6.0.9* Most modern apps give you real time data or allow you to refresh on the page. This app does not. For competitive time spots, you can filter to the appropriate spot on the calendar and still not get in because you have to leave the event screen and come back in For example let’s say registration for an open play spot opens at 9:00 am. If you land on the event registration screen at 8:59. It will say registration opens in 1 minute. Or 30 seconds or whatever. But the timer and the page don’t live update and you can’t refresh on the page. So when the clock strikes nine the page will still be showing the exact same info it showed when you first landed on the page at 8:59. You have to now leave the page and come back in and hope there are still spots available. ### 1/5 — Horrible!!!!! *2026-04-02, version 6.0.9* Such a waste of time runs you in circles and not intuitive or user-friendly ### 1/5 — Not able to delete the unused club sc *2026-03-30, version 6.0.9* It is frustrating to use this app when I am not able to delete the not frequently used clubs from my account. It is impossible to reserve without using scripts. Fix it, or return this process to manual in-person reservations with paper and pen. Now you have to download a separate app, create a log in, add a PAYMENT METHOD all to reserve a court which use to be doable with websites, a paper, or a phone call. It’s gonna be great when this app sells your information to a data company and we get more and more spam calls and emails. Whoever sold this idea to different companies bravo to you I’m sure it made you quite a bit of money to make a simple process worse. ### 3/5 — Calendar *2026-01-17, version 6.0.8* The calendar feature is hard to navigate on your phone. While you can use filters, it is not user experience friendly. ### 1/5 — No good… *2026-01-11, version 6.0.8* I cannot even get through finding a club as the search screen goes blank and non functional after “A” club listings. Fix your app ### 3/5 — Notification bug *2026-01-02, version 6.0.8* Can’t get notification to clear no matter what I do. Tried restarting, reinstalling, going to notifications in each club and nothing works. In fact the message/notification list within the club it says it’s for is blank, so there’s nothing there to clear. ### 2/5 — Needs to listen to their reviews and upgrade or improve the app. *2025-12-15* My complaint is the calendar. Every time you open up the event to see the price or how many people are signed up you go back and the entire calendar has to refresh which takes longer and takes you back the todays event. That back button should just go back and start the same. You should be able to remove yourself from the organization you no longer wish to be a member of. You should be able to remove credit cards information. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. Regarding account management, features like membership removal and stored payment methods are controlled by each club. The club owns and manages member data, while CourtReserve provides the software platform. We recommend reaching out directly to the club for assistance with those requests. Thank you for helping us improve the app. ### 3/5 — App freezes *2025-12-11, version 6.0.8* After two days of usage, I get “request too long” error and afterwards I cannot open the app. It freezes on start and I have to delete and reinstall the app. ### 2/5 — App Not Opening *2025-12-07, version 6.0.8* I'm on an iPhone 16 pro with latest software and the app freezes on the first screen. I've reinstalled it twice ### 2/5 — App doesn’t work well on iPad *2025-12-06, version 6.0.8* The Pickleball Club that I joined uses this app to book all their reservations. It works ok on my phone (3.5*) but sucks on my iPad. Several of the pages will not scroll on my screen. ### 1/5 — Horrendous User Experience *2025-12-06, version 6.0.8* I’m almost certain the CourtReserve app is a web-view-based app with a mobile wrapper, like Ionic, Capacitor, Cordova, or something similar. Poor performance, sluggish scrolling, non-standard UI and interactions, delays when tapping on anything, crazy dark patterns. There’s a huge opportunity for someone else to come in, compete in this market, and build a truly wonderful software user experience for both players and businesses. ### 3/5 — Need real-time player’s DUPR rating info *2025-12-05, version 6.0.8* With the available pickleball DUPR API service, it would be really convenient to see the players’ DUPR real-time (or on demand) rating in the app. Also the app is kind of slow so some performance improvement would be great. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Court reserve app *2026-07-30, version 6.0.14* App does not load. It just seemed hung up on that screen. Reloaded app. no change. Too frustrated so I deleted the app. ### 1/5 — Needs much improvement *2026-07-02* For the past several months, the app frequently freezes at different points during startup requiring one to force quit and re-open, sometimes several times before the app actually works. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app did nothing to improve the situation. This is really bush league and if it doesn’t get fixed soon, several others and I will be pushing my main club to switch to a different app. Developer: please don’t leave some trite response. After that you can’t exit and must restart app -more recently it will get stuck on the start up logo and will become completely inoperable regardless of a full restart of the app. Suggestions: -The app should only require you to make one account and then you can add whatever organization you want without having to confirm your details for every time. -location based suggestions -singular dupr linking on court reserve acc instead of individual organizations -this app has so much more potential since it’s the only place you can purchase play time. You could advertise local tournaments, add chat features, add a friends feature, group registration. ### 1/5 — They can take your money without your permission *2026-05-31, version 6.0.10* The club owners can take your money away without any permission, at least you should let me click on a confirm button right? ### 1/5 — Debit card fees *2026-05-27, version 6.0.10* This app is charging Debit card fees at the multiple court places I use it. Debit card fees in the US are illegal (Durbin Amendment) and carry large fines. It takes me to a .io (Indian Ocean) domain and never completes request.
