However, after I chose the correct truck for my location to order, it showed that the truck was actually somewhere else in another city entirely. Did not want to order in case the truck isn’t where it’s supposed to be or where it’s advertised. The good thing about the app is that it showed the menu & the prices so I’m at least aware of that before I go in person. ### 2/5 — Trash App needs improvement *2026-05-15, version 112.20.50* The app needs improvement from all prospectives it’s always crashing and I can never order food from the food truck it’s always asking me to cater. The food here is amazing but this app in the mobile App Store blows. We decided to call instead, well that didn’t work out either. From the message when calling, I did gather that you are only ordering at the event that was current. I closed everything and re-opened the app, SUCCESS! Once I re-opened, ordering was easy and straightforward. I attempted to contact them for catering through the app, Facebook comment, and they finally messaged back on Facebook messenger (3rd attempt). You cannot request a kit ahead of time from the food truck which was a big bummer for me and my office mates. The organization in the app is messy and redirects to the website and back to the app back and forth. They have you check in the app as Chicago and then you have to take steps to hopefully find the location of where the food truck is that day. After putting in all my personal and CC information and receiving a pick up time and a QR code to show the truck guy, when I got there they told me they had no order for me. I placed my order ($115) and received it quickly (the truck guys were GREAT!). I got my loyalty points but my account still shows no orders. I called customer service for the franchise and they show no orders for my ID but that I somehow have loyalty points… nice trick. I read a review that wasn’t so positive (about not getting online or receiving an order in a timely fashion) and it sounded like a complaint instead of a “teachable moment.” These guys clearly love to please us, so please be patient! Their food was delicious and we especially loved the lobster rolls and the Lobster Tots. Can not wait to try more of their menu items! This was my first time using their app as well and I was so happy it was very easy to use and allowed me to place a order and select a time for pick up. We had no problems when picking up the food and it was ready around pick up time.
