It arms and beeps but im always if someone really breaks in will it work well. We often receive alerts that say supervision failed on certain sensors, and our backdoor sensor seems to have stopped working in less than a year. My advice is to just invest in a bit more to ensure your home is safe and secure. ### 2/5 — The only thing that works are the doorbell and the panel. *2026-05-23, version 3.31.5* Cameras don’t work. One of them keeps disabling itself. We disabled 1/3 of our windows sensors after they kept disconnecting repeatedly from the system. Over and over again. App never works. It never loads. Camera feeds never load. The app is always crashing or telling me the system is armed/disarmed when it’s not. Hours after we disarm it, the app will still say system is armed when it’s not. One morning my husband accidentally opened the garage door and set off the alarm. The app continued to say DISARMED for several minutes, eventually making us run through the house to disarm it. This app does not work well on iOS. We’ve had this system since last summer. The update broke the already weak camera connection, rendering it useless. Dev Team, make camera access seamless like Ring. I have Wyze and Ring, and this app is the worst in that category. ### 1/5 — Never Loads *2026-05-17, version 3.31.4* This app takes WAY too long to load into live views and recorded events. Almost makes it pointless. ### 1/5 — Junk security equipment that SUCKS! *2026-05-16, version 3.31.4* This system from the install to trying to get the solar cameras to recharge to the doorbell cams only lasting 3-4 days to getting any of the cameras to record actually movements other than the environment, insects and birds. Hate this systems should heave kept my ADT with no cameras because this has been a nightmare from day one. I have replaced cameras and still haven’t been able to get them to recharge properly or record humans or cars. Biggest mistake I’ve ever made was switching to Covesmart and wasting my time, money and energy on this so called security systems. ### 1/5 — Total trash *2026-05-13, version 3.31.4* This system hasn’t worked right since we unboxed it. It constantly has connectivity issues with the wireless parts so it just beeps at you incessantly, they arrive unlabeled so you have no idea which ones are supposed to be for doors or windows(it does matter even though they look the same). This becomes very difficult to manage and see them. You’ll get an alarm, but then cannot access the view. I also don’t know how you recall views. I did call a couple times to ask for help, but customer service did not seem to be able to direct us. ### 1/5 — $300 spent on cameras that will not connect to iOS app *2026-05-06, version 3.31.4* In their haste to increase profit margins Cove started selling new and improved outdoor solar cameras for 2026 without ensuring compatibility with iOS. 69% of the smartphones in the US are iPhones, yet the app doesn’t work with the new and improved cameras. Thanks for providing this critical information after taking my money! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-05-05, version 3.31.4* Honestly the only good thing I’ve found is the customer service. We have the doorbell installed and I’m not mounting anything else until they get it working. It won’t notify me when someone walks up or rings it. Kinda defeats the purpose of it. One would think. But it takes so long for the video feeds to pull up in the app it’s useless. And that’s if I can ever get them to pull up at all. It’s hit and miss if they actually record anything. Most the time (even with no internet problems what-so-ever) the cameras are offline. Even when they are miraculously online I’m lucky if I get any saved recordings to review. It was quite honestly the least expensive system I could find regarding both equipment and monitoring. It was incredibly easy to install and during installation a COVE customer service rep helped me. And COVE’S response time is phenomenal!
