I like convenience and efficiency so I wanted to try it out. First of all, it was super easy to set up, you just enter some general information and the app does the rest. Within minutes I got quotes and I received a text right away. You can change the coverages on the app or you can txt your licensed agent. Morgan M. was my agent and she was not pushy, salesy or annoyed when I asked questions. She assisted me through text and I talked to her on the phone for a total of maybe 15 minutes and we picked a plan that was cheaper than my previous policy. It as definitely painless and super easy. I am happy that cover combined the power of working with a brokerage and a licensed agent but with a modern technology twist. Thank you again Morgan and cover! ### 5/5 — Best way to find insurance!!! *2020-01-31, version 4.2.2* I had been looking for insurance for months until I found this app. I had been trying all of the online insurance quote comparison websites and the lowest quote I got was $220. So I got this app and it was SUPER simple. I put my information in and within minutes I had a quote of $119 monthly. They requested to send me a text from an agent to finalize my insurance plan. My final quote was EVEN LESS than my original quote of $119 by almost $30. Even better the insurance quote they got me wasn’t for some third rate company I had never heard of...It was Progressive, one of the most well known companies in the business! So glad I found this app. HIGHLY recommend!! ### 5/5 — Probably the best and easiest company to work with! *2019-10-28, version 4.0.1* I have been with Geico for over 15 years. Honestly they billed me and I never bothered looking for another company. I have never had an accident and always been a responsible driver so what do they do when I move to Houston? They doubled my rate! I was not pleased but after calling a couple of big insurance companies they all were the same price. Six month later I heard about these guys and I called and setup an Account. A girl from San Francisco called and was very helpful in adjusting my plan. They have many options so don’t just go with what the app offers. After comparing my current coverage with them, I got my deductible from 500 to 100 and same coverage almost half the price! 😎 i would definitely recommend them and trust me this is my third review since I bought an iPhone in 2010 lol 😂 so I wanted to spread the news and help more people that just have auto pay for years to ditch their insurance company and go somewhere that they appreciate you and your business!! ### 5/5 — COULDNT have had a better experience!! *2019-10-10, version 4.0* This app is an absolute game changer. I didn’t expect for the process to be so easy! Alex was extremely helpful, patient and sweet from the very first phone call. Even when I mentioned that I’d have to get back to him with a final decision, he was never pushy and didn’t bother me until I came to him having made a decision. It was so convenient to be able to chat with a real person via text, very few automated calls or texts makes the whole process really feel like they care! I saved a substantial amount of money compared to what I was paying and am so grateful that I found cover. So easy to use and contact support with. Cover is really changing the game of how to receive the lowest rates possible! They have exceptional help here for the customers. Tobi who is my agent helped me to find an insane deal for 3 cars here in Houston, he was so patient with me and answered every single question I had and explained it so well, I am so glad to have had such a knowledgeable person help me find a life changing insurance deal!🤑💰💰 He went through every single option there was to get me the best rate possible, I know he looked at every option to see what was best for me and my wife. What I appreciated most about Tobi’s customer service is that, he cared, I could tell he cared. The people here work with your schedule are able to answer all your questions and give you solutions for any problem you may encounter. Highly recommend *2019-10-03, version 4.0* If you even think for a minute that you are overpaying for your auto insurance this is a must, must check. I was paying over $300 a month for basic coverages and just overall being abused by the system. That is until I found Cover. This app got me a great price at over 90%less than I was paying. Shout out to Devin he really was overall committed to finding me the best rate possible and making my experience an amazing one. However I was not looking for spam calls and a million messages from every insurance company in the world. I decided to take to an app which is the new wave now. I had the amazing opportunity to work with Christopher Tse. He answered every question I had and more made me feel completely assured in my very confused decision. Gave me the best deal even a broker couldn’t give me. I am now insured with a big named company and was given a policy number same day and amazing information on how to proceed. Thank you again for all your help! ### 5/5 — NOT A REVIEWER BUT THIS DESERVES IT *2019-08-20, version 3.4.1* If you're looking for cheaper insurance they've got you and I mean save yourself 90% of what you'd originally be paying. Also you'll be saving the time searching on your own and settling with the first one you find because submitting your info for each company is a hassle. Yes a lot of insurance search websites are sketchy but thid one is 100% legit. You just submit your info and an agent will contact you shortly after to go over everything and they're super nice. Federico, the one who helped me, was amazing. He answered all my questions and even helped me find a cheaper price than the original quote I got on the app! The whole experience is 10/10. Definitely recommend this app. Super sick. ### 5/5 — It can’t get any easier than this! *2019-05-03, version 3.0.14* I downloaded the app and completed the information required and within seconds I had a text message from a Jenna including screenshots of quotes that were available based on the information I completed. Jenna asked me if I would like to review this quote further. I replied and told her yes and very quickly after I received another text message asking when a good time to call me would be. At the date and time I selected I received a call from Jenna to review my quote and make changes as necessary so I felt that this was the best policy for me and my budget. It was so quick and painless and got coverage in minutes. I would definitely refer cover to all my friends and family! Angela ### 5/5 — So Easy and So Convenient! *2019-04-25, version 3.0.12* Let’s just first start of with saying I NEVER review apps online. So just the fact that I’m doing this is a big deal. Whenever I would try to get insurance quotes on my own, it would take hours and cause me so much stress. I saw an ad for Cover on Facebook and decided it couldn’t hurt. Later THAT DAY I got a call from one of the agents and they set me up with an insurance policy. I recently moved and had to switch insurance, and I went back to Cover again. It was just as easy, if not more to get quality auto insurance. I recommend this app to anyone who needs new insurance. They find you the best deals, and give you as many discounts as possible. LOVE the Cover team! ### 5/5 — Fantastic App/Service *2019-04-25, version 3.0.12* My previous insurance company was a pain to deal with and kept raising my rates significantly every renewal. Every time I saw the new rate I would call my insurance broker just to have him tell me it was the best rate that was available with the insurance companies they worked with. My previous insurance company dropped my coverage after they tried charging my old credit card (my broker never gave them the new one I sent him). That was when I had enough and decided to give Cover a shot. From start to finish the process took 10-15 minutes and I am saving about $400 every six months on my auto insurance alone. Next is my home owners insurance. I highly recommend giving Cover a shot. ### 5/5 — So excited for the savings! *2019-03-27, version 3.0.10* This app showed up as an ad one day a while back, I decided to download it and give it a try. I was pretty desperate for new insurance because after our second 6 month resigning with our current insurance they were raising our insurance once again. I have been looking for weeks now for a new insurance company and everyone has quoted me $250 and up because of “the type of car”... cover came in with no excuses and gave me a great rate for our insurance. We were helped by an agent named Evan who was very thorough and answered any questions we had. After working with Evan he even lowered the rate we were quoted by almost $50!! Over all it has been a great experience and for 1/2 the price every other insurance company quoted us!! I would definitely recommend them! ### 5/5 — Best insurance app out there *2019-03-21, version 3.0.10* I tried multiple apps that promise giving you a lower quote for insurance and none of them worked out – they were either fake, didn’t provide services in the Phoenix area or overall were just junk. However, the Cover app is truly amazing. Within minutes I got a call back, they could text if I was at work and couldn’t take a call and even gave me insurance with progressive at a lower rate than what I was already paying and I had been with Progressive for seven years! I even found out discounts that progressive should have been giving me all along and never did! I am so thankful for Chris, my agent who helped me get my insurance squared away with in minutes for a lower rate than what I have been paying. Thank you so much – this app is amazing!! ### 5/5 — Great service *2019-03-06, version 3.0.9* My experience with cover was great. They found me the lowest cost I could find. Companies were quoting me at around $450-$550 a month just because I’m 19 with 0 accidents or tickets. They were able to get me at $300 a month!!! I was freaking out because I could not afford more than that so they got me a price I could afford. And I’m sure if your older than 25 with clean records they could find you MUCH better rates then mine. I was a little hesitant because I was not sure if they were legit or not. But about hour after I gave them my payment information the company I got insured through sent me all the forms, I got charged what was agreed upon, and I have proof of insurance already. The agents at Cover made what could’ve been an overwhelming task a breathtakingly simple one; their agent helped me articulated what I was looking for in a car insurance option, and patiently walked me through any details I didn’t understand. The whole process took fewer than 20 min—and all I did was answer questions. ### 5/5 — Great Help *2018-12-21, version 2.6.5* The customer service over at cover are top notch. The app is very user friendly and the communication is on point. Any questions you may have for your insurance needs, they are there to help. I spoke to Evan and he helped me with my quote and played with the coverage to find the best price out there. My car was not listed on the app, so I sent them a message and they kept in contact thanking me for my patients while they created a solution and added the car to their app. They understand that the giant insurance companies take a lot of our hard earned money. At cover they try to fix that problem and they did with me. So if you’re in the market shopping for insurance I would definitely recommend giving Cover a chance to work for you. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible Experience *2020-04-01, version 4.3.2* When I initially signed up I got the best rate I had ever seen, then one day I quoted adding a second vehicle and it was an outrageous quote. So I declined adding that vehicle to my policy, well then next month Cover deducted $700 out of my bank account instead of my usual $113. Somebody by mistake went through with adding the vehicle in their side, this was admitted to me by Cover. It took them a week to pay me $600 that was over charged. I cancelled my policy last month after finding a better rate elsewhere, now I wake up this morning and see that they have now charged me $222. Had I renewed my policy after March that’s what my rate would have been, but I cancelled the policy and have the messages to prove it. Twice they have charged my account when they shouldn’t, now I’m short $222 in a time of need during this pandemic. Extremely disappointed in this whole experience. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2020-01-09, version 4.1.1* I downloaded this app because I was paying 207 with Geico. I filled everything out and was told “your monthly payment will be $155” I told the rep “cool my insurance ends with Geico Friday (which it was Monday)” she told me the price would be locked in for me Friday rolls around and she tells me “oh well since you waited the price went up to $195 a month” I was confused because she promised that the price would be locked in I ask about a military discount she told me yes it would move my payment down to $145 a month. Thought it was a good then so I start the process she then tells me “there is a $40 fee to start this policy today” I thought it was weird but paid it next billing cycle rolls around and I’m being charge $195 for the policy I call back and talk to a new rep they tell me that their are notes or any proof she promises this payment to me. I was dumbfounded then I ask to get out of the policy on grounds I was lied to then they threatened me stating “if you don’t finish the policy we will make it difficult for you to start another policy at a low rate” so if you download beware they don’t care about your military status and 95% of what they tell you is a lie. Worse insurance I have ever had I would recommend the general over this place **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback. I have had the worst experience with this app. I have been trying for a week now to hear back from somebody about a quote after putting all my info on this app and every time I go back to check the app all it says is “your auto policy is pending” it has said the same thing for a week now and nothing ever happened. It gives you no calling option. The only option of communication is to message an advisor but every time I click that and send a message I never get a response. I have yet to hear from anybody at all. The only time I heard from someone is right after I submitted my information. Supposedly it ran all these possible quotes and I got a text message right away asking me if I wanted somebody to reach out to me. I replied yes and nobody ever did. So the next day I texted yes again and nothing. Worst experience ever. ### 5/5 — Fast, easy, and helpful *2021-12-04, version 4.21* I recently installed Cover to try and find a suitable insurance policy at a reasonable price, within just a few short minutes I was able to go over a variety of choices and I was already seeing great options. What I appreciated the most though was the agent they provided me with when I was having some trouble figuring some things out. My agent, Hudson, was genuinely super helpful in trying to find an insurance policy that fitted my personal needs and went above&beyond your average customer service to answer any of my questions. That kind of quality from him made my experience shopping for auto insurance a 10/10 👍🏼. Would highly recommend. ### 5/5 — Quick. Simple. Honestly thought it would be a hassle and didn’t think it would be as helpful as it was. My agent was Tobi, he was super polite and helpful. I didn’t need to ask any extra questions because he had already discussed everything I needed to know. He was quick and to the point. I previously had geico who was charging me a ridiculous amount but after speaking with Tobi he helped me to get started connected with progressive in just minutes. I came across and included Cover (which I had not heard of before) into the mix, and luckily connected with Jacob at Cover just a few days ago. He kept in touch with me via text, and at my own pace. The pleasant communication was welcomed, and I appreciated it also not being pressured or overbearing. In addition I was also doing my own DD to create a decently robust auto plan through using many individual provider apps, but not only was that process cumbersome and futile at times - or the resulting rate seemed too high for the value. Jacob then took my info and found me what I needed - and at a good rate that worked in my budget and needs. However, this is exactly what happen working with cover. My agent, Stephanie, was very helpful, had great customer service skills and excellent attention to detail. She was also friendly, thorough and a pleasure to work with(not to mention the fact that she found me an incredible auto insurance rate with a reputable company!!)! My rep, Justin with Cover was amazing! I’m a single mom of 4 young kids so going to see anyone face to face or even having a quiet telephone conversation is almost impossible for me. I simply asked Justin if there was any way we could go through the process via text message and he had no problem with it. The entire process from start to finish was easy, effortless (for me anyways lol) and done completely via text! He was patient and never pushy like some can be. I really just answered a few questions and got my car ins quote. It was so easy that for the 1st time in my life decided to bundle with renters insurance as well! The rate was only a few extra dollars a month ontop of my auto so figured why not. I normally only ever said no to the additional insurance because I always felt like the agents were being pushy about it. Great guy, extremely patient, super personable we spoke all told over an hour and never once did he make me feel rushed or like a bother. This is my second car and second time using cover to hunt down a deal. I sat in the dealership today, car paid for, just searching apps for a better deal. They have found 2 different policies for me, both covering auto. I cannot believe how much money this app has saved me for my auto insurance. When I shopped on my own I didn’t find quotes like the ones they found for me. All I can say is that the process they use is easy, fast and saves you money. Period. Their support is top notch, understanding, and works hard for you to get you exactly what you need. They will walk you through everything and I can’t recommend them enough. Also, as a side note, they are not pushy. Nowhere in the process did I feel like they were pushing me to go with the policy they found. I actually really really wanted the policy they found. You customize your quote based off of what you need! Then you can play with the options to work towards getting a more desired rate! It changes the environment and you’re no long required to call several auto insurance companies and provide the same information time after time. After you input your information, the application scans 30+ auto insurance companies and then according to your insurance preferences, it spits out a rate. You then input your payment information get a welcome and confirm email, and receive your insurance cards next day! My personal insurance advisor, Morgan, was great, and we got everything done smoothly! ### 5/5 — Super easy and affordable *2020-09-19, version 4.6.6* I’ve been searching around for more affordable car insurance than I have now, and was skeptical at first when I saw the low rate Cole sent me. Once we started to get things going, the rate actually ended up being EVEN LESS than the original quote I was skeptical of! He went over the coverage on everything, and made knowledgeable recommendations for better coverage / ability to save me money in the future. I am blown away by how quick and easy this process was! He was able to answer questions and had great customer service like I was chatting with a friend. I had no idea what insurance I could get with the best price and this app felt like a long shot but was thoroughly impressed. I had the option to text instead of call which handled my anxiety quite nicely, they got my insurance cheaper by $75+ easily, matched my policy and got me more discounts than I could even attempt to get elsewhere. I was amazed by what rate they initially gave me and lowered it even further by $30. Turns out his manager used to work with my old insurance company so they know the ins and outs! The call took barely 30 minutes and by the time I was done I had to ask what insurance I was with because it blew by me so fast, and it was with a reputable company so I honestly have no worries!
