### 3/5 — Love app but needs bug fixes

*2026-05-05, version 2.4.11*

Love using this app to Speedtest and see how fast carriers are when I travel…but the app glitches often and I have to close the app swipe it out of task manager as new open it to get it to show data when I click on a square. This happens often having to close the app completely out swipe it closed then re open to view sad. Happening on all the iPhones I use for testing so isn’t limited to just one device. If this was fixed would be 5 stars for me

### 3/5 — Feature

*2026-04-03, version 2.4.7*

The app is amazing and everything works as intended. If possible can you make an update to the app so that it can work in the background. Currently if you start a speed test and open another app “coverage map” will pause until you reopen the app which defeats the purpose of features such as “smart” due to the fact that the app has to be open for all 500 tests.

### 4/5 — Great app, uses a lot of data though

*2025-12-12, version 2.3.4*

Does a good job. Would like to see an option for a low data mode. Google and Netflix manage to get tests run without hitting GB of usage.

The maps seem to have a “pink” bias. I have mapped one neighborhood with Boost only but when I check it using All networks, those squares are pink not orange. When I filter for just Boost they are orange.

### 3/5 — No Australia coverage

*2025-12-11, version 2.3.4*

Only works in the US…

### 2/5 — Uses too much data

*2025-12-10, version 2.3.4*

I have to quit using this as it just uses too much data. Please add a low data mode for a future enhancement.

### 4/5 — Great app, uses a lot of data though

*2025-12-03, version 2.3.4*

Does a good job. Would like to see an option for a low data mode. Google and Netflix manage to get tests run without hitting GB of usage.

### 4/5 — 4/5

*2025-10-17, version 2.2.34*

Carrier signal strengths need to be updated more often

### 2/5 — Omission

*2025-10-14, version 2.2.30*

Spectrum Mobile is the main carrier for my zip code but is not on the list.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2025-10-02, version 2.2.30*

Nice

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-09-30, version 2.2.30*

Now works in the UK!

### 5/5 — 100%

*2025-09-22, version 2.2.26*

Must have!

### 4/5 — It’s good but it’s need a fix

*2025-09-17, version 2.2.26*

Good app, but there’s a bug: check the speed test gauge in stealth mode theme and you’ll see.

### 5/5 — Exceptional tool for cell coverage

*2025-09-12, version 2.2.22*

Use it-helps decide which carrier to use.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-06-25, version 2.4.11*

The UI fails constantly and requires forcing the app to close and reopening to fix. They really should use native Apple apis rather than multi platform dev tools. The difference is quite noticeable.

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2026-06-17, version 2.4.11*

I do not have a strong enough cellular signal outside my home or inside on Verizon cellular. The app shows me solidly inside a Verizon area. It also shows no signal area for T-Mobile. However my neighbor has 5G T-Mobile signal and I can physically see the T-Mobile tower in a hill across from my house. The app is not helpful if it is not able to give correct information.

### 1/5 — So so

*2026-04-10, version 2.4.7*

So So

### 1/5 — Pure AD No Use

*2025-11-12, version 2.3.4*

Can’t even load up map tiles

### 1/5 — Speeds Irrelevant to Location Selected

*2025-09-29, version 2.2.26*

Speed test shows different speeds when selecting each of the tabs. Indoor, Outdoor, Car or Other if you are in the same location. Not an accurate testing app.

### 1/5 — Limited Options

*2025-09-20, version 2.2.26*

There are only 4 options and there are more in my area to choose from (specifically Consumer Cellular is not listed).

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-09-16, version 2.2.25*

While the app has carrier information, it is VERY general by zip code. Far too macro. My address has very minimal coverage that is in and out. This app indicates 100% coverage for all major carriers, which sounds like carrier marketing points rather than an accurate tool to find the best coverage by carrier. 👎

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-09-09, version 2.2.22*

Try another app

### 1/5 — New update is bad

*2025-09-02, version 2.2.22*

The new update no longer lets you set a duration between tests of less than 5 seconds which is extremely problematic. I used to do 2 seconds in between which makes sense when you’re driving and moving fast. Fix this!!!

### 1/5 — Not even close to being accurate.

*2025-07-10, version 2.0.5*

Shows that T-Mobile has coverage in my area. Actual measured signal strength is poor at best. Constant call failures, dropped calls and almost all calls use WiFi calling. AT&T and Verizon no better. They all use the same tower. Lots of measured interference and noise in this area.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2026-07-06, version 2.4.11*

I love this app it’s great for checking coverage across carriers without having to use the carrier provided ones which suck. I also like you can run speed tests while driving and log datapoints in the crowdsourced map as well.

### 5/5 — Keeping carriers honest

*2026-06-30, version 2.4.11*

Love this app as it lets me see which carriers tend to perform better in a given location. This is great when recommending a carrier to a friend or colleague, and to check what the experience of a signal/carrier is in a given area! Love apps that use crowdsourced data like this!

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-06-20, version 2.4.11*

I wanted to provide some feedback and suggestions:

When using the map feature, could you make my selection permanent? Every time I access the maps section, it prompts me to grant motion and location access. Once I grant this access, it should remain active and not require me to grant access repeatedly. I think a better approach would be to ask for this configuration when someone first uses the feature and then store it.

### 5/5 — Nothing else like this app

*2026-03-31, version 2.4.7*

Improvements to this app are constantly being added.

### 5/5 — The Best Speedtest App ever

*2026-03-08, version 2.3.4*

This is by far the best Speedtest app ever and I love the community nature of the app (I have been using it I would probably say when Stetson first made it public on iOS)

### 5/5 — Best cellphone coverage app out there

*2026-03-01, version 2.3.4*

Coverage Map offers the most value in the cellphone space. Speed test results, plus signal coverage maps from Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

### 5/5 — Review

*2025-12-19, version 2.3.4*

It is very good, and user friendly. It is easy to learn. Has a very large data collection.

### 5/5 — Best app to find out good phone providers

*2025-11-22, version 2.3.4*

With this app, I found out that my provider was the slowest with the most expensive plans. I would always use this app to find the best phone provider data for your location. It’s gonna save you money and make you more happier.

### 5/5 — Best Coverage Map App Out There!

*2025-11-06, version 2.3.4*

This app is perfect for checking mobile network coverage and data speeds across the U.S.! The maps are detailed and reliable, showing real upload and download speeds reported by users through crowdsourcing — and you can even contribute your own data to help improve accuracy. I also love that you can search by ZIP code, county, or city, which makes it super convenient to find coverage anywhere. The interface is clean, fast, and user-friendly. Definitely a must-have app if you want to compare carriers and find the best signal wherever you go!

### 5/5 — Best Speed test app.

*2025-10-27, version 2.3.4*

It’s nice to check your speed. However, filling in a map with crowd source data and not only that competing with others to get points is so much fun.

See you on the leaderboard!
