It does not record a video. Yes I’m in video mode. Taking photos with a tap of 1 finger works fine, but 2 fingers is a no go. ### 3/5 — 4K? *2024-05-08, version 4.0.2* Why will it not take video in 4k? Also when you rotate phone to take in landscape it does video in landscape but only in 1080 and you also need to then rotate it to make it true landscape in the edit. The developer responded right away, which is excellent. I was given some pointers on the correct way to use it and now this is my review: Upon launching the app Live Photo is on, despite it being off in settings. However if you swipe into video mode you can take normal photos by single tapping or videos by double tapping. I am now giving it 4/5 because in video mode the big red blob that indicates it is recording means it’s no longer as covert as it could be. If it were my app I would greatly reduce the size of the blob and move it to the bottom right, so it’s next to the preview window. Kudos to the developer tho! ### 2/5 — Would be 5 if not for red recording light *2019-12-22, version 4.0.2* Not sure, as mentioned, why this hasn’t been fixed yet. When recording video the red light stays on which negates the purpose of a “covert cam”. Would love it if it comes on for 3 or so seconds and then goes off or simply have a setting to toggle that on and off. 5 start app of that is fixed, other wise it literally isn’t a covert camera. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Video doesn’t work *2022-09-25, version 4.0.2* Only lets me take photos. As the document and data of covertcam has increased to about 5GB, it seems that the video is stored in the app itself. Is there any way to see this?
