### 4/5 — Compatibilité avec Apple Wallet?

*2021-07-30, version 1.0.11*

L’appli est très bien faite, mais son seul manquement est qu’il n’est pas encore possible d’exporter le code QR vers Apple Wallet et en faire un véritable pass sanitaire.

### 2/5 — Can’t connect via any method

*2021-07-23, version 1.0.11*

:/

### 1/5 — Certificates downloaded but now not displayed

*2021-07-01*

Installed and signed in no problem. Certificates retrieved and displayed no problem. So i thought that I was all set. But now when I open the app it hangs with only a large check mark in the middle of the screen . . .

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2021-06-25*

The app works with itsme, which is only available in EU Apple store and not in the US apple store (I cannot change the store).Other types of login send me in a loop of always login with my Belgian ID chip card, which will be delivered in in some months. The last option to login without is to make an appointment in your local municipality that, due to COVID restrictions, could take about 3 months.

Please add other types of authentication (E.g. via bank app) or simple ways to connect the vaccination certificate and COVID test to the app.

Considering all of this I requested my paper vaccination certificate.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback.
Unfortunately to hear you aren't able to use the app.
At this time there is no option to authenticate via other platforms.

Please not, if possible you can request your certificate by paper or on eHealth.

Our apologies for the inconvenience

### 1/5 — Can’t do more complicated!

*2021-06-21*

To make the app work need to download another one even more tricky and only available on the Belgian appstore. Why should I install Istme? eID login is safe and everyone has it already (sort of). I just printed my certificates and will uninstall the app. Bye bye CovidSafe! If u want average people use this app, make it simple.

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2021-06-17*

The App relies on logging in using another App called ‘It’sMe’. Unfortunately, this App isn’t available on the US App Store, so rendering impossible the opportunity to download the certificates. Not well thought through for the expat community living in Europe…

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback!
Unfortunately we don't have another solution to authenticate at this time.
If needed you could use eHealth to generate your certificate.

### 4/5 — Can’t open, keeps crashing

*2021-06-17, version 1.0.6*

Doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Only certificates with itsme and on Belgian AppStore

*2021-06-17*

The new version only allows to access certificates by logging in wit itsme. In the previous version it was also possible to authenticate over the government portal.

This is very problematic, because itsme is only available on the Belgian AppStore, amd if you have a different country’s store, you mus switch to Belgium and lose all your content.

Please put back the possibility to download te certificates with the government authentication.

### 1/5 — Must be accessible for CSAM digital ID

*2021-06-16, version 1.0.6*

This app is welcome as a handy way to demonstrate a healthy Covid status. However, it must become accessible to everybody.

Why only “ITsme”?

The BE government’s own digital identity provider CSAM can’t at the moment be used to authenticate digital identity which means that many 10,000s can not access or use this app. This is unfair and it must change in the next version of the app.

### 1/5 — Unable to start

*2021-06-16*

The app on my iPad mini 3 immediately crashes without any error message.

**Developer response:** We have released a solution to this problem. Could you please update the app to version 1.0.7. If it works for you, would you reconsider your score?
We apologize for the inconvenience.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-02-22*

My COVID safe ticket stopped working few days after I have downloaded the certificate, and the only piece of information it tells me now is that my certificate is invalid. Not good

### 1/5 — Useless for this Belgian resident

*2022-01-11*

Due to my work being international I don’t have my Apple ID registered in the EU. This makes using covidsafe app impossible from what I understand. If a large portion of a countries population can’t use this app I imagine it makes the overall performance of the app and the data it collects underperform. It doesn’t look like there are any plans to address this giant discrepancy.

### 1/5 — Appli discriminatoire

*2021-12-10, version 1.1.18*

Impossible d’obtenir un CST en tant que non résident belge…. C’est discriminatoire et je pourrais porter plainte pour cela !

### 1/5 — Not user friendly for non-EU and non-Belgian travelers

*2021-10-25*

I am from the USA. There is no way this application recognizes or allows uploads of CDC vaccine cards. All options of obtaining an account requires a Belgian account or National ID from Belgium. I was able to upload a COVID PCR test using the last 4 digits of my phone number and a prescription code for the test (texted to me since I filled out the Passenger Location Form) that was required coming from a high risk country (despite being vaccinated + boosted), but the negative PCR test was only valid for 72 hours and therefore my QR code expired. It was a bit frustrating since I was following the Belgian government rules (tested day 1&7, again despite being vaccinated), but the QR code and app did not make sense. If the government wants me to test day 1&7, why would my test/QR code not be valid in between the testing? Why expire at 72 hours when I don’t have to test again until day 7? I don’t completely blame the app because I think the government needs to provide more guidance/rules to allow recognition of non-EU vaccination documents, but until then, it’s not user friendly for foreigners that are trying to follow the rules.

### 1/5 — Werk niet Met 5s

*2021-09-17*

Werkt niet Met 5s. Heb de laatste versie gedownload. Wat mis ik?

### 1/5 — DOB

*2021-09-11, version 1.1.2*

Why is the date of birth in American date format?

### 1/5 — Authentication Doesn’t work

*2021-09-05*

As a international Belgian, it’s a terrible experience to only allow signup through Itsme.

Itsme doesn’t work at all if you don’t live in Belgium, and no-one can help you set it up.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-09-03*

As reported by others , the app only works with Itsme which I can’t get with my American Apple account. It should be mentioned …

Deleting app….

### 1/5 — below average experience

*2021-07-25*

itsme is only available in BE AppStore. This is discriminative.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback.
This application is only intended for Belgian citizens or people with a Belgian national number.
If the problem still persists, please contact itsme or our helpdesk.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2021-07-02*

It doesn’t work. It sends me out to Itsme for verification, but after successful verification, the app screen doesn’t change.

Hope this is fixed soon

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — excellent vaccination app

*2022-09-30, version 1.2.6*

Impressive app from Belgium federal government. Integrated with itsMe. Easy and intuitive interface.
I suggest that they make this a general vaccination app that can store all our vaccinations e.g: Yellow Fever, Smapppox, Qpox, Rabies, Typhoid, Cholera, MMR, etc. Could allow GPs to upload the data.

### 5/5 — Great app but…

*2022-01-22, version 1.1.19*

Can you add compatible proof of vaccination to Apple Wallet and Health apps. That would be great, instead of always going in the app for proof.

### 5/5 — App works great. Quick turnaround for code

*2022-01-11*

The app had worked great for me and the turnaround time for getting the code back from submitting my information was super fast. 5 stars!

### 5/5 — Gurjit xxx

*2021-12-23, version 1.1.19*

Good.

### 5/5 — Read recent reviews

*2021-11-13*

Available on latest IOS. Must follow instructions and receive certificate code from Belgium website first! Took 1 day for me. Uploaded and received QR code. Was able to upload new QR code to AntiCovid afterwards. Thanks for your work!

### 5/5 — Works perfectly (read below)

*2021-11-10*

The app works perfectly from the United States or anywhere. But it doesn’t tell you that the easiest way to get the Belgian code is to register at the government’s website. Within 24 hours after sending them your information, the Belgian government sends you a code with very good instructions in multiple languages on how to enter that code into the app. It is a very easy process except they don’t really explain that the easiest way to do it is by getting the code from their website. Go to https://coronavirus.brussels/en/belgian-cst-for-foreigners/ and scroll down to fill out the form and upload your documentation and vaccine card.

Much thanks to DangerSquirrel for the review and the heads up!

### 5/5 — Installed & Used from US - Instruction below

*2021-11-03*

From the US, I applied for the Belgium digital Covid certificate via the coronavirus.Brussels website where there was information for foreign visitors (Belgian CST for foreigners section.) I filled out the information, uploaded my digital vaccine information and passport information. It asked for information about the European vaccine name, so I had to select both Spikevax and Moderna. You may want to look that up for whatever your vax is. It took only a couple of days for them to validate. everything, and sent me back an email. I also gave them my phone number which is important. When I received the email it told me to download this app, and gave me a code to download the certificate. I did not need to download any other application. However I did need to provide the last four digits of my phone number, although I only received a code via email. So remember to enter a phone number when you apply. I entered the code and digits, and immediately had my information linked. I don’t know about the problems people of had been asked to download a different app, and I didn’t download any test results. But I was able to do this directly from United States after getting the digital certificate from the website.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2021-07-25*

Super easy and super fast to use! Better than having to save the QR code from Helena or eHealth as a PDF on my phone. Well done!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2021-06-18, version 1.0.6*

Excellent alternative >DCO

### 4/5 — Apple Wallet

*2022-01-15, version 1.1.19*

Its alright to have CovidSafe.be but are there any instructions over adding my covid qr code to IOS wallet. iOS wallet allows cool scannable of qr on apple watch as well, but CovidSafe app isn’t collaborating with smart watches.
Need a verifiable qr code.
