### 3/5 — It’s Good but Could be Better

I purchased this scanner over the other 10 I tried because of the .csv export file is the one that works best for my needs, but boy, the scanner needs major improvement. I have to correct every single card I scan in one way or another. It constantly puts the business name everywhere but in the business name field. It will put descriptions or other information  written on business cards as one long text thread in the address field or job field. It puts square business card rotated right instead of the way I scanned them in and the photo editor doesn’t fix it. I can rotate the image in the editor but the edit will never save. I like that I can have my own fields that I create, because I need Facebook and Instagram fields but I’m surprised that they don’t automatically have these fields for the scanner to read, so I have to manually input that information every time. There is a LinkedIn field, so why not other social media fields that people actually use? If the scanner function actually worked the way it is supposed to and read in and inputted the correct information in the correct spot, I would be able to scan 10x as fast. This is why it only gets 3 stars.

This is a very well made app, but there is an immediate pay wall, so that’s not cool. Seems like a great resource if you’re willing to pay though!

When I try to reopen the app the app does seems to start with a first press it need 4-5 attempts for it to start and some time the camera does not turn on I guess you need to make some critical improvements as I love the app when it’s function normally.. while exporting to excel how do i get the image file exported it seems no option. Please help

Das kann der Visitenkarten funktioniert mit dieser App sehr gut und auch die interne Verwaltung ist okay. Allerdings habe ich was gesucht um neue Visitenkarten in Outlook hinzuzufügen. Das sollte laut Beschreibung über die Exportimport Funktion, ist in Deutschland aber unbrauchbar weil alle ä, ü, ö, ß, beim Export durch andere Zeichen ersetzt werden und daher jeder Kontakt im Outlook nachgearbeitet werden muss.

You press scan and nothing shows up. I’ve tried multiple times to reset and nothing. Can’t believe you literally can’t use the app, and after I started a free trial for an 80 dollar subscription lol insane

When I firsts bought this about five years ago, it worked super well. For the last couple of years it’s been next to useless. In my old iPhone 12 and now in my fully up to date 17 pro. At the moment, I’m logged in and online, but it tells me I need to log in to save my cards (that’s already done). It also says I’m offline when I’m online. It’s basically unusable.

It need very strong network, only WiFi it works. Not even in 5G. It becomes very difficult to use it when required to scan

Seit dem letzten Update, erkennt die App fast nichts mehr richtig, sie erkennt was, aber hat meist einen Zahlendreher in Handynummern oder eine falsche Mail. Die Überprüfung dauert daher genau so lange, wie als würde mans selbst einspeichern. Vorher hat es gut funktioniert, leider jetzt nicht mehr.

Ich würde Ihnen empfehlen, die Kameraeinstellungen Ihres Smartphones zu überprüfen, falls dort etwas nicht richtig eingestellt ist. Abgesehen davon bietet Covve weiterhin den genauesten Scanner auf dem Markt.

No. Recent changes to app have been focused on loss of user privacy.

Payed for lifetime membership but changed phones and now receiving a message that server cannot be found when logging in with email.

Im Flow fehlt eine Nutzung per VoiceOver. Viele Tasten sind nur als Anführungszeichen“ Taste“ gekennzeichnet. Dabei wäre es schön, wenn man wüsste, was diese Taste bewirkt. Gerade für blinde Menschen wäre das sammeln von Adressen mit dieser App sinnvoll und zielführend. Sobald die App von Linden Menschen 100-prozentig genutzt werden kann, gibt es auch mindestens vier Sterne.

Oh this is maybe not have an “excel” type exportable database I’m not sure, but it is nice that even when the app isn’t downloaded it saved my scanned contacts seemlessly.
