Ridiculous! ### 3/5 — Outages *2026-09-09, version 6.6.0* I simply wanted to say that we have too many outages, and some of them are not seen by the cops team when I call in, so I don’t call in as often I simply troubleshoot myself most of the time. It is if our house is the one house on our street that has a bunch of problems with Cable and connections, I don’t know that for a fact, but it’s my assumption based on the number of calls that we’ve made. Nonetheless, I would rather have Cable than nothing. Additionally, there are many many times when we only have two bars in our house that is very open, our modem is wide open, and everything they were supposed to do is being done, I just want to say that for the record before anyone asked. We appreciate your Technicians and all of the hard work that they do when we call in, but you must understand that this is really frustrating when it happens and it always seems to happen during a really good movie that we wanted to watch. Over all worse than DSL and Century link so now you now how poor. Just haven’t had time to work through issues since last call. Hard wire to router performs adequate so I believe problem is with router wifi even in direct line of site. Single is good to adequate WiFi has a serious problem transferring data and has since it was installed. ### 1/5 — WiFi rewiew *2026-09-08, version 6.6.0* Constantly having stoppages of Wi-Fi and or the speed that you are paying for slowly starts decreasing unless you restart your router or contact Cox for them to reset the system. I’m constantly having to restart my router every three days just to get what I’m paying for. Anything you need just takes you to the website on your phone's browser. So what's the point of the app? By the way, my Cox internet has been out for five hours now. No text, nothing. Service is horrible for the $140.00 a month we pay. ### 1/5 — COX INTERNET *2026-09-04, version 6.6.0* Since COX merging with Spectrum, the internet connection has been dropping multiple times during the day. I am becoming irritated and about to switch to the other company ### 1/5 — Poor customer service and back to back no shows *2026-09-04, version 6.6.0* I’ve had Cox internet for almost 20 years bundled with TV. I cancelled the TV package and went with YouTube TV because the cost had gotten so high. Once I cancelled the TV package I now have lags and spinning daily while trying to watch the TV apps. I called for service and spoke with a supervisor (Becka) who guaranteed to get it fixed and scheduled a technician (Anthony) the next day from 5pm-630pm. Got a call at 7 that he wouldn’t make it, and said I’ll talk to scheduling and get this set as a priority for tomorrow for the same time frame. I also received a text after that call that I had been rescheduled and then a second one that it was cancelled, as well as an email saying I had switched equipment. I called Anthony back and he said it comes in weird but I see that it’s good so don’t worry. Next day didn’t show again so called customer support again and was less than helpful and said I’ll just give you a $20 credit.
