## What is Cozydo?

Cozydo is a calm, local-first task manager and habit tracker built for people who want to stay organized without sharing their data with a server.
No account required. No sign-up. No subscription. Just open the app and start.

WHAT'S INSIDE:

TODAY VIEW
See everything that needs your attention right now: habits to check off, tasks due today, overdue items, and your unscheduled inbox, all on one screen. Use quick-add to type a task naturally and Cozydo figures out the date automatically.

HABIT TRACKER
Build daily routines that stick. Track streaks, set local reminders, and check habits off right from the Today view. Reminders are fully private; the lock screen notification can hide your habit name so only you know what it's for.

PROJECTS AND AREAS
Organize tasks into projects and areas: Work, Personal, Learning, or anything else. Each project displays a progress ring so you can see how close you are at a glance.

STATS AND INSIGHTS
Weekly completion counts, habit streaks, and priority breakdowns, all computed on your device and never sent anywhere.

CALENDAR VIEW
A month-at-a-glance calendar with a scrollable daily task list below. Tap any day to see what's scheduled, drag tasks to reschedule, and view Apple Calendar events alongside your own tasks.

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
Three widgets keep you on track without opening the app: Today's Tasks, Habit Progress, and Overdue and Inbox counts.

PRIVACY FIRST
Your data lives in SwiftData, protected by iOS Data Protection. Optional iCloud sync goes through your personal Apple ID; we literally cannot read it. No analytics SDK. No ads. No tracking of any kind.

Cozydo is the to-do app for people who want a task and habit planner that respects their focus, their privacy, and their time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7.0 — 2026-07-04

Pause & Resume for recurring tasks and habits
- Pause anything that repeats — indefinitely ("Until I resume") or scheduled to auto-resume on a date (quick 1 week / 2 weeks / 1 month presets, or a custom day). One shared sheet for both tasks and habits.
- Habits: pause/resume from the detail ⋯ menu or a Habits-list long-press. Paused cards dim and show "Paused until …"; the check-in button becomes a resume banner. Paused habits leave the Today strip and the widget, and reminders go silent.
- Recurring tasks: pause/resume from task detail or a row swipe. A PAUSED pill replaces the due date. Paused tasks disappear from Today/Inbox/Calendar/overdue and the widget, but stay reachable in a new Paused section on Today so they're never lost.
- Streaks survive pauses — paused days neither count toward nor break a habit's streak.
- Smart resume — auto-resume is applied at launch/foreground; a resumed task rolls forward to its next occurrence instead of returning as a pile of overdue instances.
- Pause state is included in backup export/import (backward compatible with old files).

Notification fixes
- Paused tasks/habits never schedule reminders, and the habit snooze action no-ops while paused.
- Fixed: notification action buttons (e.g. "Mark as Completed") were dropped on the first tap when the app had been killed — the handler wasn't wired until a view appeared, which doesn't happen on a background launch. Now bootstrapped in the app delegate so the first tap always works.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-06-23

New
  - Edit habit history: tap any day in the 12-week heatmap to backfill or correct a completion — toggle done/not-done for simple habits, or set an exact count for multi-count habits.
  - Fill all in one tap: multi-count habits now have a one-click "mark all done" button, both on the habit's today view and in the day editor.

Improved
  - Smarter review prompts: the app now asks for an App Store review at the right moments — after completing tasks/habits and adding new activity — and re-asks at later milestones instead of only once, so you get a fair chance to
  leave a rating.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-06-17

• Quick Add now understands times like "in 5 min" and "at 6" — and smartly picks AM/PM for you.
• New Inbox toggle: Unscheduled vs. Next 7 days.
• Sample tasks & habits on first launch so you can explore right away.
• Fixed duplicate tasks after reinstalling. Plus reliability improvements.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-06-12

Bug fixes

### 1.3.2 — 2026-06-11

Fixes:
1. "Repeat" selection started in habit creation.

Minor updates:
1. Added "Every 45" as repeat option for habits
2. Made Habit on home page much clear
