This is one of the most important aspects of the app for me and it isn’t meeting my expectations. I would like to be able to swap meals between dates on the calendar just by dragging them around. I’d like to duplicate meals and entire weeks/dates of meal plans instead of having to find them each time in the list and enter on the calendar one by one. I would like to be able to edit ingredients when entering meals using the photo or internet meal adds. The ingredient amounts also randomly change to numbers that don’t make sense sometimes and it’s really hard to figure out what was actually meant. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you very much for your valuable feedback. I have used it for one day and can already see that the interactive features are very useful. I already have my kids completing their chores. First, I want to be clear: the Cozyla display itself has been fantastic. In our home we’ve affectionately nicknamed it “the Brain” because it has become the central hub for our family’s schedule and organization. The hardware and functionality have exceeded our expectations. My one-star review has nothing to do with the product. It is entirely about the company’s business practices and the trust they have broken with their customers. Before purchasing, I spent days comparing Cozyla with competing products. The deciding factor—the reason I chose Cozyla despite its higher upfront price—was their commitment to no subscription fees. I was happy to pay more initially because I wanted to avoid yet another recurring monthly charge. That promise set Cozyla apart in a market where companies increasingly rely on subscription models. Beyond that, Cozyla appeared to value its community. They built an engaged Facebook group, actively sought customer feedback, and invited users to participate in pilot programs that helped shape the product. It genuinely felt like a company that listened to and respected its customers. Then, without meaningful communication or transparency, a subscription model was introduced. The issue isn’t simply that a subscription now exists. Companies can certainly change their business models. The problem is how it was handled. Customers who purchased based on the company’s original value proposition now feel blindsided. Trust, once lost, is incredibly difficult to rebuild. If I were making this purchase today, knowing what I know now about the company’s direction and how this transition was managed, I would choose a different product. Not because the hardware isn’t excellent—it absolutely is—but because I no longer have confidence that the company’s commitments to its customers will remain intact. Cozyla built a loyal community by promising something different. The app is unfortunately unstable and is constantly buggy, giving random errors that you can’t troubleshoot yourself, and sometimes is just blank. Why did I pay for this product? I am frustrated because I can’t see my calendar events from my phone with the Cozyla app, which is not okay. No actual support but a developer log form on the device and a generic support portal that requires you to send your ID that should be known.
