## What is CozyShelf?

Your book hangover has a home now.

CozyShelf is the reading tracker and book journal built for mood readers. The ones who finish a book at 2am and just sit there. Who need somewhere to put the feeling before the real world pulls them back. Who have strong opinions about fictional characters and absolutely zero apologies about it.
Not a spreadsheet. Not a social network. No follower counts, no algorithmic pressure, no one telling you what to read next. CozyShelf is your private emotional home for every story that ever claimed you.

JOURNAL THE FEELING, NOT JUST THE BOOK

Write in-the-moment reading journal entries while you're mid-chapter. Tag the vibe: joyful, devastated, frustrated, obsessed. Mark the page. Record the exact moment an author wrecked you completely. Your future self will want to know.
SET THE MOOD

Pick a visual ambience that matches the world you're reading in. Romantasy. Enchanted Library. Cottage Core. Winter Reading Room. Cozy Halloween. Your digital bookshelf shifts with your reading era, because the right atmosphere makes you feel like you never quite left.
TRACK YOUR READING LIFE WITHOUT THE PRESSURE

Search millions of books, scan barcodes, track reading status, formats, star ratings, dates, and genre tags. Build your reading list the way it actually lives in your head. Your Currently Reading shelf is free, always. No subscription needed to see what's on your nightstand.
WATCH YOUR READING STATS COME ALIVE

Pace tracking, reading goals, and an overview of your entire reading life. Not because productivity matters, but because sometimes you need proof of how deeply you've been living inside other worlds.

BUILT FOR MOOD READERS

You don't pick books by genre. You pick them by how you need to feel. CozyShelf gets that. Built by a mood reader, for mood readers. The fangirls, the fantasy devotees, the romantasy obsessives, the ones who will always have a slightly parasocial relationship with fictional characters.
CozyShelf. For every book that ruined you.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-06-21*

This is a fun tool and very handy. It helps me keep track of the books I’ve finished reading as well as those that I will continue to read later. So many wonderful features. I can rate the mood of the book and how it made me feel when I read it. Suffice to say I’m glad somebody thought of this.

### 5/5 — so goated

*2026-06-20*

I’ve tried a few book tracking apps, and CozyShelf is by far my favorite. It’s simple, easy to use, and has everything I need to keep track of what I’m reading, write notes, organize my books, and log my moods across different genres.

What I love most is that it feels focused on the reading experience rather than just statistics. The design is beautiful, everything is easy to manage, and the app runs smoothly without any issues. It’s quickly become an essential part of my reading routine.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants a clean, thoughtful way to track their reading life.

### 5/5 — Cozy vibes

*2026-06-20*

This app helps me track my reading in a way other apps don’t offer. The vibes are chill and engaging. Easy and fun to use.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.2 — 2026-08-29

Bug fixes and improvements - always making it a smoother experience for you.

### 1.6 — 2026-08-25

Whole series, one tap.

Add a book and CozyShelf now offers you the rest of the series in reading order, so you are not hunting down book four at eleven at night. And because a world is not the same as a saga (we know - we got you!), standalone series are offered as what they are more books in the same world, not a numbered sequence you are behind on.

Also in this update:

Stay signed in. No more being asked to sign in nearly every time you open the app.
Opens straight to your shelves when you have books waiting. Your constellation now holds every book you have acquired (reading, finished or did-not-finish) with brighter stars for the ones you loved. Fairy lights, snowfall and butterflies now drift behind every screen. A reading calendar you can actually read, with covers. The journal opens at the top, where it should. A steadier barcode scanner that tells you what actually went wrong. And the always appreciated, way faster launches.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-05

Your Annual Wrap-Up just got better.

Books you imported from other book tracking apps now show up in your wrap-up, even the ones without a mood logged. And you can finally look back across more than one year: pick two specific years to compare, or tap All Years to see your whole reading life in one view.

Happy reading!

### 1.4 — 2026-07-30

Your library goes where you go now.
Sign in on a new phone or your tablet and it's all already there. Every book, every journal entry, every mood, every stat. Nothing to re-add. No book is lost between your devices.
Plus a handful of quiet fixes to keep everything running smoothly.

### 1.3 — 2026-06-30

Behind-the-scenes improvements to keep your shelf running smoothly.
