### 1/5 — RxTx Mobile

*2019-06-26*

I have bad chance to loose this app due to expiration, but will You do favor if will renew it.
Thanks

### 1/5 — Download

*2019-05-30, version 6.0*

The cps will not download.

### 1/5 — Very difficult to search by generics

*2019-01-16, version 6.0*

I should not be surprised but I thought the generic would have improved! They should learn from the British National Formulary design!

### 2/5 — Usefulness

*2018-11-28, version 5.0.3*

-not helpful if brand name product no longer is listed on CPS. You cannot find any medical information on the generic product even you search by the chemical name. This is a problem when so many drugs are generics.

-also a lot of common medical conditions are not available

### 2/5 — Rxtx problem

*2018-11-09, version 5.0.3*

I have RxTx Mobile on my iPhone 6s and it used to work well. Now it won’t load no matter how long I wait. Even when I delete it and then download it from the cloud.

### 1/5 — RxTx

*2018-07-17, version 5.0.2*

Cannot load on my iPhone- help

### 1/5 — Won’t even open!

*2018-05-12, version 5.0*

App takes forever to open . What’s up?

### 2/5 — Little use to date

*2018-05-09, version 5.0*

The eCPS update is nice... I can see me maybe using this now, but where is CTC? The drug tables provided are a pale substitute for the CTC and don’t really serve much purpose in practice

### 1/5 — At least Dr Bryan was able log in.

*2018-05-08, version 5.0*

Just installed V5.
Can’t log in.
Username and password work fine on www.pharmacists.ca.
Can’t even use the forgot password function.

### 1/5 — Where’s the content?

*2018-01-07, version 4.1.2*

This app no longer contains any content. I try to search a drug name and there are no matches. No metoprolol, no atorvastatin, oseltamivir. Zilch, nada, nothing. It’s completely useless.

### 1/5 — NP

*2017-11-01, version 4.1.2*

Completely unusable! Where is the content?

### 1/5 — Completely empty

*2017-10-30, version 4.1.2*

I can't even search for aspirin.

Every time I am on wifi it states updates are running in the background but it never gets better.

If you fix this issue I'll gladly change my review

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very poor service

*2023-04-26, version 7.0.3*

1- The content is great. After all it reflects the Canadian guidelines.
2- Access to the content and search is a different story. A lot of room for improvement!
3- Every few years app changes name. Very irresponsible.
4- Every single time, the renewal of the subscription is a hustle. You don't even get an email to reset your password.
5- For a subscription worth of almost $800 per year, the service is very poor.

### 1/5 — No good as like PC

*2020-12-12, version 6.1.2*

It has no tab for Lexicomp , Drugs/Conditions or other Resources Not worth this app for mobile
On PC its perfect 👍

### 1/5 — Do Not waste your money

*2020-04-29, version 6.1.2*

Most drugs you look up are not there, if there , only availability info. You have to struggle to find info you are trying to get. UpToDate is very good source with very easy access.

### 1/5 — Don’t subscribe to this app, Won’t login

*2020-03-18, version 6.1.2*

I used this app about two years ago and it was perfect. It worked smoothly with no glitches.

Today I decided to renew my subscription for Therapeutic choices e suites/ CTC.

Can login online via browser but the app on my phone wouldn’t even let me log in despite multiple redownloads of the app.

I called the customer care number and the person couldn’t resolve it and told me he would call back but I haven’t heard back.

Very disappointing.

Please fix this app.

### 1/5 — Won’t download

*2020-01-23, version 6.1.2*

An “error” occurs when trying to download the content. Not worth it, it doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Cannot Sign In

*2019-11-27, version 6.1.2*

App wont even let me sign in. Keeps saying “something went wrong”

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2019-11-14, version 6.1.2*

Tried to use before but slow buggy updates and downloads over wifi were common. New installation will not download any updates either over data or wifi. It would be excellent to have Canadian content but not worth all the trouble shooting when there are better options. Just use the webpage.

### 1/5 — No Longer Works

*2019-10-14, version 6.1.1*

The app worked fine until the latest update, now it seems that it no longer supports my university’s subscription. I deleted the app and have since gone with another that works much better. Don’t waste your time in contacting the publisher as I emailed them weeks ago and never received a reply.

### 1/5 — No longer works on my enterprise account

*2019-07-22, version 6.1*

I can no longer access the app with my university or CMA membership account. Easy enough to switch to other resources like Lexicomp or UpToDate, although they are unfortunately more US focused.

### 1/5 — Disappointed and frustrated

*2019-07-20, version 6.1*

I’ve been using RxTx for years, and found the mobile app convenient for quick checks in the med room. Useful and informative.

Now it’s all gone with 6.1 update. Restriction to individual subscription voids my access as an enterprise account. Incredibly frustrating, to put it lightly! I loathe that an update as limiting as 6.1 can be auto-updated in the background. I loathe whoever at this corp gave the go-ahead. It is unprofessional, full stop.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2019-12-22, version 6.1.2*

Perfect application, but I hope the font can get larger.

### 5/5 — Pretty good

*2018-10-25, version 5.0.3*

Decent app, good design, but lacking information that can be found on the desktop website

### 4/5 — Good Canadian drug ref

*2018-05-20, version 5.0.1*

Best Canadian drug reference...
Awesome

### 4/5 — Content erased with update - reinstall fixes bug

*2018-01-28, version 4.1.2*

I have had this app for 4 years now. Very useful for med school and residency. I especially like the drug choises which lets you browse per medical condition and pharmacologic category.

However with the update a few months back all the content of the app was erased and the updates in-app didn’t bring it back. Today I deleted and reinstalled the app - everything is back!

### 4/5 — This is now how Canadian MDs access the CPS

*2015-04-04, version 3.1.1*

I gather the CPA is no longer going to send out our blue CPS bibles. If you have a CMA membership, you can get your 'free' yearly access to this apps CPS by going through the CMA website. This app is probably sucking a lot of memory as others have commented on. I have just downloaded it and briefly looked at it. I like what I have seen so far, beats running around looking for the latest blue book. We may also have CPS access online, through the computer somehow, I don't know.

### 3/5 — Add a search function for the page being reviewed

*2020-07-09, version 6.1.2*

There is a general search bar to type in a specific keyword. When the page finally pulls up, there should be another search function that will lead you to the keyword you searched for initially. In this day and age people don’t have the time to search a page manually. Please add this function. Thanks!

### 3/5 — Where is CTC

*2018-09-29, version 5.0.3*

Love the app layout but they need to add CTC

### 3/5 — Before you get this

*2018-02-05, version 4.1.2*

Know that this is the shell program for a medical tool that costs hundreds of dollars per year subscription! Without the subscription it is worthless!

### 3/5 — Response to the search issue

*2014-10-03, version 3.1.0*

Please accept our apologies for your frustration with the app. The search issues that have been highlighted occur when the content isn’t loaded after installing the app. To load the content, click on the update button on the bottom right. The next release of the app will automatically load the content to prevent this error from occurring. We are available to provide assistance, please call 1-800-917-9489 ext. 501. ### 2/5 — Worked just fine until the 6.1 version came then it is just a POS

*2019-07-02, version 6.1*

I was using the RxTx app since Sept 2018 til June 2019 using the 6.0 version. For the reference I was using an enterprise account purchased by the nursing home I work at. It worked perfectly and it was awesome until 6.1 came along. The new version restricted access to only individuai subscription only, meaning if you are using an enterprise account, you are screwed. Such a stupid decision to restrict access from CPhA. They think if you are a student, health care professional, etc, that are sharing an enterprise account, you are not worthy of a customer as individual based account or something.
Needless to say, I deleted this RxTx app. As a NH, we purchase RxTx subscription because we have to, not because we see value in it. Lexicom is way better.
