But its enough to win or lose your Money! Sometimes, you’re monitoring an instrument, and it’s plain annoying to have to keep touching the screen phone time after time. Of course, you can disable screen lock completely for your phone... but then, you would have to reenabke it after finishing with CQG app. It would be nice if CQG app requested IOS not to lock the screen, like other apps do . Do not use it. ### 1/5 — Error on MacOS *2023-06-08* For some reason, the developers think it's necessary to check if a phone is jailbroken... why would that be their business? But regardless, I'm on MacOS (M1) so I can install universal apps, like this one. Unfortunately I simply can't get past this dumb error message: "This device appears to be jailbroken. For security reasons, login procedure is blocked." ### 1/5 — CAN’T PLACE OCO ORDERS *2020-10-13* For scalpers, this is not the best app to use. I like to move my Stop around the graph according to market movement, and this app won’t allow you to do that. When you place an order, it takes you to a different tab where you have to put down number of ticks for target and for loss then confirm, by then the market already moved. If they were to fix these issues, I would give 5 stars, but for now is more than enough. ### 1/5 — Login HELL *2020-09-02* Day traders beware ! Plan on typing your password a couple hundreds times a day. Oh and the biometrics finger scan never works either 🤬 ### 1/5 — UNUSABLE AVOID CQG *2019-11-21* For a mobile trading app this may be the worst one there. They use a tiny font that is difficult to see what price it is and has traded at making it almost unusable. It’s supposed to be a mobile app that you can readily see on your iPhone. Customer service is weak and despite the obvious and glaring flaw they are oblivious to fixing it. Very disappointing and one star is a fair rating. ### 1/5 — This app lacks important features for trading *2019-10-19* You are unable to have the chart and dome on the same page which makes this app worthless for futures traders. They charge $.25 cents per contract each way and yet the app isn’t any good for futures traders. Did I mention that this app is worthless for futures traders? Being a scalper I like to be in and out as fast as possible. Is there a way to get past that? Thanks! Another challenge is when multiple accounts are used and we log into CQG mobile it logs you out of all the desktop pc’s .. so no one else can trade the account - even though they are sub accounts with their own Logins. ### 5/5 — Fantastic! *2019-09-30* I called this a game changer when first introduced. Putting the app in horizontal mode, you can’t lay the phone flat. It has to be “perfectly” up right to use horizontal mode. Buy and sell limit orders should have a setting to customize the order colors.
