I click and nothing happens. I tap and nothing happens. The only place I can actually type is on the desktop app and the web app but the mobile phone on iPhone I can’t do anything. I am so thankful this got fixed below the dev’s are there!! they’re listening!! Now I can’t “tap and drag!” Below is my last review on a different issue. 👇 Have the devs stopped working on this app? Background images for cards don’t work anymore. The only way I can get them to show is by duplicating a card that already has a background image and then switching the image out which means I have to go into the card, copy and paste everything from one card to the other, so that it won’t be a complete duplicate. I love that I can change the text size on my iPad. I love the page breaks, wipe-boards, header and background images. Easily change a line to a toggle, bullet, task etc. BUT it drives me crazy that I cant actually see all my tasks together in the all tasks view without scheduling them first. WHY? Nobody wants to go into each document looking for tasks. I just noticed that I can’t change the background image of a card anymore when I go to select “customize” or “custom” it doesn’t respond and there’s nothing there. It’s just empty. It doesn’t trigger opening up the Photos app library. Last reviews: Still can’t find what I want There is no way to find anything on the page you’re editing. And if you love Milanote, because you can see everything in board-style, but you *still* can’t find where you wrote what… Well, rejoice!! This app is the ultimate love-child of Notion and Milanote (oh yeah AND Bear), and my live is now complete. I can see ALL my notes in one glance, beautifully displayed, as well as organised nicely like you would in Notion. — Furthermore, it’s SO satisfying to use, which you don’t get on any other similar app. AND (OMG) the iPhone app is actually not only usable, but incredibly beautiful and a pleasure to use (all these haptic feedbacks, thanks Craft peeps!!). Remember my last opened doc. I end up in main screen with list of files every time I come back to the app. 2. Ability to archive docs I am done with would be great. I am doing it manually by moving the doc to an archive folder ### 3/5 — Weird glitches *2026-05-16, version 3.4.2* Pretty good app. It’s still a bit cumbersome to find the menus to adjust the text and pages. But I still prefer Craft over searching for a ton of files in folders. The latest issue I’m having is with odd glitches. For instance, after editing a page (or just opening it) I notice some of the text has weirdly shifted to the left of the page. Even weirder, I can’t select the displaced line but it appears in the correct space but is only visible when I move my mouse over it (I can’t edit it though). Another way to try and explain it, is the line becomes a ghost of itself. Usually I’ll close Craft and reopen and everything is back in place but as soon as I edit a page, the glitch returns. This is the only time this has happened since I’ve subscribed to Craft and the glitches only appeared before the latest iOS and MacOS updates. ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2026-05-11, version 3.4.2* Tried so many organizer apps and this is the only one I naturally open and use. The Craft Support team reached out immediately, asked for relevant details, and is following up with me regularly. I am confident they will find a solution for the issue I am experiencing. It is so close though. their collections feature is almost as good as notions database. But because of the Waze deals with the collection, it’s just not there. you don’t really get the ability to make yourself a nice little digital home the way you do in an app like Notion. However, it does make up for it in other ways. I have made the commitment to continue using Craft instead of Notion for the next, however, long. I don’t know if I will go back to Notion. I am a writer and a researcher.And craft certainly hits the writing part of my needs.And with obsidian in the mix I think I canFinally, leave Notion behind.Yeah, I wanna awesome but I do feel there’s room for improvement. something to hold it all together.They recently implemented tags and that’s a big step in the right direction but it’s still not there. but I’m gonna continue to use itBecause I find it, intuitive and enjoyable, quick to grabAnd get the info out my brain. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Craft on iPad with a bluetooth keyboard is a productivity nightmare *2026-08-06, version 3.5.3* Craft on an iPad with a bluetooth keyboard and in Stack mode is borderline unusable. The view gets scrambled and corrupted after just a few steps, requiring to close the application, open it again, find the document, and go to the item where the working was performed every single time. ### 1/5 — Constant display problems *2026-07-13, version 3.5.1* Using Craft when I work on my iPads has become a nightmare for a long while now. I am regular Craft user for a few years now. I rely on this application to process large amounts of information. Sometimes I use my MacBook Pro. Another times use my iPad Pro or iPad Air combined with an Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic trackpad. My software is always up to date with the latest version. I exploit iPad navigation capabilities to its limit, swapping screens, combining windows, and screen stacks. It only takes a few minutes working on a Craft document to find the screen is corrupted. Texts are misplaced, items disappear, and fonts get distorted. The only way to fix it is to close the window, open the app again, and painfully navigate to the point I left it. It happens all the time, sinking my productivity. I contacted Craft customer service months ago. They were exceptional in reaching out and asking for details, and appalling following through, let alone solving the problem. My main two working platforms are Mac OS (MacBook Pro), and iOS (iPad Pro). While I haven’t experienced issues when working on my Mac, working on my iPad at this moment is unbearable. The displayed items are scrambled every few times I work on a document. Furthermore, as a result the work included inside the artifacts (Pages, etc.), disappears. My productivity using this tool has sank. Unfortunately I have too much information related to each project to swap applications. Otherwise I would have abandoned Craft. ### 1/5 — ALTISSIMO CUSTO E SEM FUNCOES BASICAS! *2026-04-19* Custa o olho da cara pra um aplicativo desse, 35 a 49,00 mensais, para nao ter uma simples função que bloqueie uma versao de arquivo de ser editada por engano. Se quiser documentar coisas importantes ali sem risco de apagar ou incluir algum caractere por engano durante o processo de leitura, ou contra injeção de IA ou agentes maliciosos, você estará completamente vulnerável. Seu dinheiro merece mais que isso! Ferramentas como Bear fornecem essa função de bloquear escrita, mas nao possuem a opcao de pasta. ### 1/5 — App is good but freezes up on me; Really eats credits… *2026-03-31, version 3.3.12* Update: They updated AI and now it won’t even do what it did before. Such a waste of money.—————-So I changed from another app that quadrupled in price and I do like the app BUT you can’t see how many credits each run costs you and the rate of credit “cost” doesn’t seem consistent. I ask complex questions like translate a study guide and its 20 credits, then ask one question one something the AI missed (to add it) and its 8 credits. So in 3 days I’ve run up over 300 credits… unless you check your credit before you run the question and then after you have no idea how much credits it’s costing you. I do like it but I’m not sure I can justify how much its costing me when I can get unlimited elsewhere for MUCH less than I’m paying now. And you have to reselect what documents to search every time you ask a question. I got a black friday deal for the monthly subsc but it only gives you enough credits for maybe 5-6 asks. On the site it say’s it costs on average 2 credits per ask on FAST and that is NOT true. I’m using Fast because Core is not good at all. I tried Max and found it no better than core and that ate like 30 credits in one go. ### 1/5 — Highlighting *2026-03-31, version 3.3.12* I see no simple way of highlighting with the Apple Pencil. Why an expensive app cannot do such a simple thing is beyond me very poor design. ### 1/5 — Task screen totally broken on iOS for a while now *2026-02-19, version 3.3.9* I’ve been reporting a broken task screen on the mobile app for a while, with no response from the developers. I can’t add, or view, tasks on iOS despite it previously working. I feel like the developers are getting heavily into rapidly shipping with agentic AI without doing basic testing. This may be the most underrated app ever. Not withstanding the high ratings, I’ve been an avid experimenter of productivity apps for years and until deep-diving recently I had never heard of it. Or am I missing something? But seriously, this app is amazing. I’ve been using it for work/ life for about a year now. I Loveeee. You can access it from anywhere: phone, iPad, or desktop. I’m able to save & Send my notes no Matter what device I’m using. They sync up Perfectly, which has narrowed down the amount of lists I make. I can set up reminders and tasks with deadline. This is such a fun, attractive, and organized app. Slight learning curve but easy to use once you get it. Note there is some free functions but I did subscribe to the $9 per month. I just started using this app and was a little nervous because I am not tech-savvy. I was so pleasantly surprised to discover it is extremely user friendly. I was able to figure most things out on my own. However, when I needed help I simply e-mailed the Craft team and always recieved immediate replies filled with simple and easy to understand information on what I needed and more. They truly go above and beyond to assist their customers. I can do everything I need to do for vet tech school in one outstanding app; from mapping, to flow charts, to tables, to summarizing my notes, and so much more! Craft has really introduced a hierarchical order to my notes, and made them more manageable, nested, and organised.
