## What is CRALOG Inspections?

CRALOG is the field tool used by CRALOG-certified maritime safety inspectors and the Authorised Service Provider network we operate worldwide.

  Use it on board, at the quay, or in the workshop to:

  • Record lifeboat, davit, crane and lifting-appliance inspections
  • Capture Statements of Fitness against the vessel and equipment catalogue
  • Manage your task list and stay aligned with the office
  • Chat with colleagues and other certified technicians in your team
  • Sync inspection data back to the central CRALOG system whenever you have a connection

  This app is intended for technicians and engineers who hold CRALOG certification and are authorised to operate under a flag-state or class-society Authorised Service Provider
  mandate. A login from your CRALOG service provider company is required.

ISO 23678 says every lifeboat and davit technician must have their skills assessed and confirmed by a qualified person. CRALOG now captures this during normal inspection work, not in paperwork afterwards. Technicians tick what was done on the job. A second qualified person confirms it under their own login. An assessor then signs the assessment on the web. When the outcome is Competent, the technician's last and next assessment dates update automatically and the report is archived. Certificates themselves are not issued or renewed by this — certificate renewal stays a separate step.
