Consolidated Resources for Australian Paramedics (aka CRAP), has been created by a 37 year veteran paramedic of Ambulance Victoria. This application is intended for study, research and comparison purposes only and is not to be used for clinical practice in the field. My aim it to give Australian paramedics and student paramedics, a better understanding of the depth and scope of pre-hospital health care in the various States and Territories of Australia. My hope is that this application will make the transition of paramedics from one State to another easier, with the knowledge of the various Guidelines, Protocols and drugs used in each State or Territory. I also hope that students will find it useful in deciding the regio in which they would like to work. I am also endeavouring to provide both students and paramedics with a comprehensive list of pre-hospital care educational institutions, employment and ongoing support options that will benefit them in the short, medium and long term, in a career, which served me well for more than 37 years. Another goal is to unite paramedics from all over Australia, and to do this I have made access to the Fair-Go Forum for Australian paramedics (a.k.a. Thanks John, appreciate it. ### 4/5 — From the developer... *2018-02-10, version 2.5* The data was unavailable for 2 day’s only and that was due to the sever in the U.S. going off line. All Victorian Guidelines are hyperlinked unlike the official AV app which is only to employed paramedics. There is only a current issue with a few sample videos, which I’ll attend to in the next update. This was sure to limitations using YouTube. I’m giving myself 4 stars because I have to rate the app but not 5 because of the later limitation only. Any questions please use the link to me... the developer. This version just appears to be PDFs of the AV CPGs. I really miss the easy navigation and clickable links. I just wish I could go back and hit "undo". Sorry John ### 3/5 — Disappointed by new update *2014-06-16, version 1.7* This new update provides a thorough guide with all Vic Guidelines scanned into app and, from the looks of it, an introduction of interstate guidelines. While this is good, if I wanted to read the CPGs I'd get the book out of my bag. This update seems to have removed the simplified format and clickable links within guidelines which allowed easy navigation to related guideline/drug doses.
