I am able to practice various strategies and it also recognizes Vegas strip 3-4-5 odds on pass line and come bets. Dice behavior is also realistic and each throw is unpredictable burning you early on some rounds or keeping a streak alive. Aside from setting up my practice table this is the next best thing. ### 3/5 — Pretty decent app... *2015-02-17* ... but the support site is DEAD. Mostly, it is a bad idea to PAY for an app that has no support! Except for this, I would have given 5 stars. Here are some small issues. Dealer info for "any craps" shows help screen for "don't come" bet. I don't see any way to mark my place bets as "off" for one or more rolls. I don't see any way to place "three way craps" with a $3 bet. (Any craps paid $21 on a 12, rather than $28.) Placing the 6 or 8 puts $6 on the board. Swiping down to remove the bet only removes 5$, leaving an invalid bet on the table. (It did pay even money, but I've NEVER seen a casino that would let you place $1.) ALL OF THE ABOVE are offered solely in the spirit of making a great app just a little better! ### 3/5 — Not horrible *2015-01-11* It's a little laggy and sometimes the bets are unresponsive. I love how this game has better graphics and allows multiple players at the table. I noticed some occasional issues with how the game redeems come and come odds bets, but I suspect they'll work out these extremely rare issues soon. That being said this is an outstanding game and I would highly recommend it. ### 3/5 — Craps HD - statistically inaccurate *2013-11-18, version 1.5* The look, feel, sound and options of the app are excellent. I have kept a continuing count (which the app provides for you) of rolls. Over the course of 17,200 rolls (obviously a large statistical sample), the game rolled 12% more 7s than it should. Ouch. If the goal of the app is to convince people that you will always ultimately lose at craps, the app is doing an excellent job!! ### 5/5 — Authentic! *2013-08-01* This is a great game that really captures the look and sound of Craps. Love the stick calls! Worth the price of the app alone. The flexibility afforded in the prefs really allows you to dial in a particular Craps scenario to match most any casino. I find it really helpful for practicing different strategies against different tables/casinos. I like the 3D dice option but one suggestion would be to trim the amount of time it takes from the end of the roll to the beginning of the stick call. Perhaps in a future version? This would make it more realistic. Some casino sounds in the background would be cool too. These are minor considerations, though. Great graphics, speed of game and all around game play. A manual dice roll feature where you could input the results from an "analogue" real life roll of the dice would make this a party machine. ### 2/5 — Disappointment *2012-09-03* Free version from same developer, even in 2x mode on iPad, plays faster and better. This version not as fun and seems to require more taps to get stuff done. Dealer calls are the most realistic of any computer craps game. ### 4/5 — NICE PLAYABILITY *2012-08-12* Ok, so I've read reviews, purchased, and played for several hours. The game play settings are great especially the auto options to get my come out roll bets done automatically every time. If you're like me, that saves time. The stick calls are a nice addition with a little variety to boot. Advice and help are at your finger tips which is nice. Virtual control over all aspects of the game which you would have at a real table. Now dice odds are a little different. I've played this game for 4 hrs straight and can't a roll past 12 throws. I would like to see an option to set the dice difficulty like in "Aw Craps!". Afterall, this is a game and not the real thing so we should be able to indulge ourselves in a HOT roll every now and then! Would also prefer to see, or be told, how much I have on the place bets. I've pressed up to 5 times and was having difficulty remembering how much was out there. Any Craps player knows how important it is to keep track of those bets. Lastly, I'd like to be able to toss the dice. It doesn't change the outcome, it just increases the fun. I took a star away for the term "multi-player". An illusive term that I mistook for wifi, bluetooth, or online play with friends. I got some big boys and huddling around my ipad wasn't any fun at all. Although I did get the sense of a real table since it can sometimes get cramped. I doubt that was the intent. This app is just as good as Aw Craps! with some differences that make having both of them on my ipad worthwhile. If they update soon I say go ahead and spend the bux! ### 4/5 — Feels like a real table *2012-07-04* Might be just me but this app gives me the closest feel to a real table than all the others. I can bet any way I want, passline with X odds, props and even a firebet. I even play the donts which are harder and (ahem) awkward just like a real game( got to make a few more clicks to bet a lay). If I see a ton of 7s the table is cold so I CLOSE THE APP like I'm walking away from a real table. Open it again like I'm somewhere new and the rolls almost aways do far better. Been playing real craps for 15 years, good app and fun time waster... If you can't get to a real table. I bet the same way and seem to win and lose just like i do a a real table. Betting is a pain…. Slow and difficult to say the least. Software of rollout is unrealistic. Whole thing is a complete waste. ### 1/5 — Flawed App *2016-10-07* Many things wrong. You cannot take down a Lay bet until it eventually loses. You cannot take down a Dont Pass bet after the Come-Out roll, which is wrong for those that know the game. The dice are rigged, when you make certain types of bets, the next role will almost always be a seven, or if you are playing the Dont Come you will hit the point number. After a while you can recognize the pattern of the dice and win at will, in a few days I turned $200 into $420,000. Preposterous. This is a game strictly for beginners, or for those people who do not know the game. I have not tried other apps. ### 1/5 — Lots of detail graphics but...... *2016-08-06* The graphics are great and the game play is solid. But placing bets and moving chips are very difficult because the graphics are so small. Craps in real life is a fast action game and you need to move chips all the time. Only one player is playing the game why make the chip rack so small to access? I've used it practically everyday to practice and without any issues on both iPad generations 2 and 3 (and even iPhone 4S), until this update. The game now crashes anytime you try to take a bet down. I've tried restarting multiple times and turning off the new auto-betting features. I wish they updated and put in bonus craps, but as far as the rest of play goes for being spot on to bets at the casino, it's the best period. Great for fooling around and trying different strategies. Also it's multiplayer which most others aren't.
