## What is Crashform?

The European Accident Statement is currently used to report a traffic accident. The Belgian insurance industry has developed an app enabling motorists to report a traffic accident to the insurance companies immediately and electronically. The use of data from the European Accident Statement is approved by Insurance Europe, who holds the rights to such use. With Crashform, much of the information needed is loaded automatically. The app helps the user to report the facts as precisely as possible. The use of the app makes it possible for the insurer to process the claim faster. Crashform also helps the motorists involved in a collision to gain time as compared to the use of the paper form.

Bien mais Qr code difficile à reconnaître

De QR-codes scannen op de verzekeringsbewijzen zorgt er niet voor dat alles reeds ingevuld is, integendeel. 

Op mijn formulier staat nu ook dat de voertuigen geen schade opliepen omdat geantwoord werd dat er geen aanrijding plaatsvond, maar bij het ontwijken van de tegenpartij heb ik wel schade opgelopen! Grote tekortkoming aan deze app, want dit kan niet toegevoegd worden als opmerking. Nu hebben we een formulier ingevuld waar enkel uit blijkt dat de tegenpartij geen voorrang van rechts gaf…

Why would anybody install an App for registering an accident that very probably and hopefully never happens. And even when so, probably once in a lifetime! It’s like reverse “wishful thinking”    Moreover the App takes approximately 58(!)MB just to fill out a simple form!?! Why not simply anticipating and filling out the (hardcopy)form with relevant data like name, adres, car details etc.

Gegevens verzekeringnemer worden niet automatisch overgezet naar bestuurder. Tweede bestuurder kan niet ingevuld worden op voorhand.

Net de app gebruikt en ben best tevreden. Tegenpartij sprak enkel Engels, mijn deel in het NL kunnen invullen, de tegenpartij heeft ENG gebruikt. Foto’s vlot opgeladen. Het aanduiden van de schade op de tekening is wat beperkt maar je hebt de mogelijkheid om tekstueel toe te voegen. Dit was echter niet heel duidelijk. 
Kan iets intuïtiever. Nog een beetje sleutelen en dat komt helemaal goed!

Onvoorstelbaar knullig in elkaar geflanselde rommel. Onbruikbaar, buggy en onoverzichtelijk. Een echte schande.

.... de belofte (2 jaar geleden) dat, bij het testen, alle gegevens via de scan, zouden ingevuld worden, is dit nog steeds niet het geval. Bij een goede werking zou deze app zeker helpen bij een ongeval.

1. L’encodage QR ne complète pas les données de l’intermédiaire, ce serait bien, mais si ce n’est pas possible, prévoyez le dans “profil”.
2. Retour en arrière: pourquoi n’est-ce pas possible en cas d’oubli ou d’erreur? La révision des pages du rapport ne permet pas toujours de modifier. Pourquoi? Exemple les données de circonstances de l’accident étaient manquantes pour le véhicule B, impossible de modifier pour les introduire.
3. En cas de flote de véhicules et d’un groupe de chauffeurs (famille ou entreprise): il faudrait pouvoir introduire dans profil une douzaine de véhicules et de chauffeurs, 3 assureurs et intermédiaires…
4. Combiner encodage par profil et par code QR. Ne serait-il pas possible d’encoder les véhicules dans son profil avec la lecture des codes QR? Serait-il possible d’enregistrer les codes QR des véhicules dans profil et de lire les dates de validité actualisées des assurances lors de la sélection du véhicule? L’App pourrait même remplacer la carte d’assurance papier en donnant accès à une copie actualisée de celle-ci à tout moment…
5. A l’encodage du preneur d’assurance, un prénom doit obligatoirement être encodé alors que ça peut être un société, par contre pour le conducteur vous ne demandez qu’un “nom” sans préciser nom de famille et prénom.
6. Il faudrait pouvoir partager l’App avec un groupe de chauffeurs (famille et/ou entreprise) via un compte avec user name et mot de passe, voir même avoir accès à sa base de données depuis un PC via internet pour la compléter aisément.

J’imagine que cette version est une version Alpha ?
Si tu essayes de scanner le QR code de ta carte verte, dans le meilleur des cas, le nom de l’assuré sera repris dans l’app. Tout le reste est à faire manuellement. Bref, aucun intérêt.
