About

Manage your vinyl collection with Cratto—and rediscover the records you love. From cataloging your records and CDs and organizing them into crates to listening to matching albums on Apple Music, Cratto brings collecting and listening together on iPhone and iPad. 1. Your Vinyl Collection, Cataloged Keep a pocket-sized catalog of your records, with artwork, artists, tracklists, and release details, and note the media and sleeve condition of each copy using Discogs grading. At record shops and fairs, check what you already own and avoid buying the same record twice. 2. Your CDs, Too Add CDs from Discogs or with a barcode scan, and they get their own CD tab beside Vinyl in your collection and want list, each in its jewel case. Play a CD from Today's Pick, and a disc slides out of its sleeve. 3. Find Records with a Scan Scan a barcode or recognize a catalog number to find matching releases on Discogs. Spend less time typing, then compare release details to identify the exact edition in your hands. 4. Organize Your Way Crates appear automatically from your collection's genres, or create your own, add records, and arrange their order. Give each crate a finish: acrylic, walnut, aluminum, or wood and acrylic. Build a jazz shelf, gather your weekend favorites, or keep an artist's releases together. 5. Keep a Want List Save records you're interested in without mixing them into the collection you already own. A friend's recommendation, a find at the shop, an edition you're still hunting for: keep it on your list for your next dig. 6. Listen with Apple Music Find and play the matching album on Apple Music as you browse your records. Revisit your collection away from your turntable, or listen to an unfamiliar album before you go looking for a copy. You can also search for and collect digital albums. 7. Rediscover What You Own Let Today's Pick and Shuffle choose your next listen: a familiar favorite, or an album you haven't played in a while. On iPhone, add the Today's Pick widget to your Home Screen. 8. Make Artwork Part of the Experience Cratto Gold Record unlocks premium players inspired by vinyl, CDs, and album art: a record spinning under a tonearm, an aluminum CD player with the album printed on its spinning disc, and a player built around the cover. Choose classic black vinyl, colored styles such as marbled and clear splatter, or a picture disc, all colored by the album's artwork. Print a CD's cover or one color on its disc, or leave it silver, and give the CD player a white look with wooden ends. 9. Sync Across iPhone and iPad With Cratto Gold Record, turn on Library Sync to keep your collection, want list, condition grades, and crates up to date across your devices through your own iCloud account. Sync is optional and stays off until you turn it on. 10. At Home on iPad On iPad, Cratto spreads out with a sidebar layout in portrait and landscape, players designed for the larger screen, and keyboard shortcuts for playback. 11. Share Your Favorite Records Create a poster with a record's artwork and details to recommend a recent favorite. Add a release code that friends can scan with Cratto to find the same release. 12. Your Collection Stays Yours Your collection is stored on your device and, if you turn on Library Sync, in your own iCloud. There's no Cratto account and no Cratto server. Automatic local backups, plus backup export and import, let you keep a separate copy and restore it whenever you need. Please note: Record information is provided by Discogs. Related features require an internet connection, and some actions require a connected Discogs account. Music is provided by Apple Music. Full playback requires an active Apple Music subscription and the appropriate authorization; availability varies by region and catalog. Cratto Gold Record is a one-time purchase and does not include an Apple Music subscription. Library Sync requires Cratto Gold Record and the same iCloud account on each device.

What's New in Cratto

1.1.6

October 5, 2026

What's New: CDs in your collection: a new CD tab sits beside Vinyl in your collection and want list, with each CD shown in its jewel case, and a CD's page shows the clear case too. Play a CD from Today's Pick, and a disc slides out of its sleeve. If you collect both vinyl and CDs, you can now keep everything in one place. Lou, the CD player: with Cratto Gold Record, meet Player Ⅱ Lou. The album is printed on its spinning disc; choose Cover Print, Color Print, or Silver. Previous, next, stop, and play are real keys you can press, the next albums wait in their jewel cases for a swipe, and there's a white look with wooden side panels too. Your CD albums now feel like they're playing on a CD player. Record archive: show a record's details as an archive, in Ticket, Grid, or Receipt style, and add an album note and must-hear tracks in Archive Settings. Save the archive to Photos: Grid and Receipt are designed as 50 × 80 mm labels, so you can print them on a label printer and stick them on the sleeve. Scan the barcode on an archive with Cratto to open that record. The records on your shelf and their details in the app are now one scan apart. Vinyl player: add an optional aluminum record weight, its cap inlaid with a sticker for the record's genre. The tonearm has been rebuilt after a real one, with a more lifelike tube, collar, and headshell, and the playing track's waveform now builds up bar by bar. It's closer to a real turntable, for more immersive listening. Album artwork: albums with an Apple Music cover now show it right away, without a Discogs cover flashing first, and albums open faster. iPad: a new Filter section at the bottom of the sidebar. Player settings now open in a floating sidebar from the right, and panels that slide in from the right can be swiped closed. In the cover player, turn a queued album over to see its back cover. The cover player keeps its full layout in every window size on iPadOS 27. Organizing and listening on the big screen is smoother than ever. Improvements: on iPhone, the player button now lets you choose a player and change its appearance. Capsule and card buttons respond across their whole shape, VoiceOver reads play buttons correctly, and there are many other refinements and fixes.
