### 2/5 — Paid the $40-honest review

*2026-07-17*

I paid the $40 because I was really hopeful this would help my BED. Obviously this isn’t replacement for therapy, but a nice starting point. And I think that’s all it really is, a starting point. There’s nothing really substantial about the app to keep you coming back. I kept losing my streak and not even noticing because the confetti and trumpets wasn’t enough to keep me opening the app every day. The resources are okay, but pretty elementary and lacking. The only feature I enjoyed was the chat which is basically AI and I don’t need to pay $40 to get a chat bot to text me back.

### 5/5 — Very sweet and helpful app

*2026-02-10, version 4.0.1*

I find this app provides me
comfort and insight. I truly recommend it.

### 1/5 — the app is not working

*2025-12-18*

I literally bought a $40 yearly plan by accident after going through with a free trial, and I was going to just accept it and commit to using the app for year, but now it won’t let me get into the app and wants me to pay yet again to get in. please let me into the app of give me my money. I already spent $40 and now I cannot even get in to the app to use it.

### 1/5 — Money hungry

*2025-12-12, version 3.6.1*

This app is riddled in AI art for one. You also can’t even use it , you have to go through 10 minutes of a questioner to get hit with a paywall.

### 5/5 — Supportive and Proactive for Binge Eating

*2025-12-10*

Cravr is an amazing app for managing binge eating. I love that the founders are so involved and genuinely want to evolve the app to help users. Their features are thoughtfully designed to stop overeating before it even starts, making it a practical and supportive tool.

### 1/5 — Makes you pay

*2025-12-08, version 3.6.1*

I didn’t know the subscription was on another website, it’s SO hard to unsubscribe, the creators make it impossible to. Don’t even try unless you plan on keeping this app for a year and pay $40.

### 1/5 — You have to pay money to use the app. Not worth it.

*2025-12-07, version 3.6.1*

App sucks

### 1/5 — scam

*2025-12-06, version 3.6.1*

the app is a scam

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-11-25, version 3.5.2*

Very straight forward and definitely helps

### 1/5 — Makes you pay

*2025-11-24, version 3.5.2*

Why do i have to pay to stop overeating?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-06-21, version 5.0.0*

This app is so useless and trash and trust me when I say this don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — I LOVE WHEN APPS DO THIS

*2026-06-18, version 5.0.0*

I love being forced to make an account and then being told I have to pay to use the app. Just start off with that I will rip my hair out of my scalp

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-06-18, version 5.0.0*

Wasting my time with all these questions then covering my screen with an obnoxious amount of money is very annoying. Unless you have the patience and money I don’t recommend.

### 1/5 — scam

*2026-06-13, version 5.0.0*

need to pay to even use the app, useless asl

### 1/5 — Bad quality

*2026-06-03, version 4.1.1*

Apps quality is horrible not helpful

### 1/5 — No free trial

*2026-05-27, version 4.1.1*

They shove the £12.99 per month membership before you get to even have a test of the app or how it works. I’d recommend setting a freemium plan where users can trial the app for 3 (or so) days and then present them with membership plans.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-05-15, version 4.1.1*

Asks a million questions and then u can’t use it at all without paying for a subscription. They try to use psychological tactics to manipulate u into paying (ie drawing a smiley face which uses the psychological commitment method) just overall scummy

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2026-03-07, version 4.1.0*

I literally HAD to pay for a subscription to get into it and even if I canceled it, it messed up my entire thing to even be able to download apps. Also it’s just genuinely not helpful, and makes no sense and doesn’t even help me when I’m having an urge to binge… wouldn’t recommend

### 1/5 — No free trial

*2026-02-20, version 4.1.0*

They want you to pay when you don't even really get to see everything you'd be getting. And the app doesn't tell you until after you've answered a bunch of questions.

### 1/5 — You have to pay

*2026-01-04, version 3.7.2*

Saw someone advertise the app for if you have a bED, thought it’d be nice, turns out you have to pay just to get in, which sucks because the multiple people that advertised it said it was free

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — First day

*2026-03-18, version 4.1.0*

Honestly seems like a pretty good well rounded app Im enjoying it so far nothing bad to say

### 5/5 — Creative, cute and supportive

*2026-03-07*

Nice community chat. Lots of coping skills and activities to try in place of your emotional eating and food cravings. This is a beautiful app. It was very well thought out. You really begin to feel like you’re not alone on this journey. There are lots of other tools and mini goals to check off and explore as well. I would say it’s well worth the prize. I’m new here, but I love the little character to chat with too. Any app for adults where something a lot of us struggle with, is made into a fun and safe place to work on getting better each day, with others as well, is a definite win. 5/5

**Developer response:** SugarKisses,

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review! It truly means a lot to our small team, and to me personally as the founder. I started building this because I know how lonely and frustrating the struggle with cravings and emotional eating can feel. Hearing that the app helps you feel supported and not alone is exactly why we built it.

I’m really glad you’re enjoying the little character too. That was something we hoped would make the experience feel a bit warmer and more encouraging. Thank you for taking the time to share this and for being part of the community. We’re really grateful you’re here. 💚

### 5/5 — :)

*2026-02-19, version 4.1.0*

The platform is constantly improving in quality + sososo worth it. I love how Cravr is a pocket version reminding me about what recovery looks like on the daily.

### 5/5 — Actually enjoyable

*2026-02-18*

The app is actually really pleasant and doesn’t feel like work which makes making progress easier and one less thing creating hurdles or tension when on a healing journey

### 5/5 — “I’m a guy and didn’t think this was for me.”

*2026-02-18*

Most stuff about binge eating feels very… not targeted at men. But cravings don’t care about gender. This feels neutral and practical. No fluffy stuff. Just tools that help.

### 5/5 — Massive help in my recovery journey 🌱

*2026-02-18*

I’ve tried so many apps, but Cravr actually sticks with me through ups and downs. The daily insights are grounding and the craving exercises genuinely help me navigate urges. Highly recommend to anyone who’s struggled.

### 5/5 — Became a need

*2026-02-18*

A very needed app for me and some people I’ve introduced to the app. The actual use of the app is helpful, and I genuinely have started thinking twice before ordering DoorDash or even opening social media because of the Temptation Blocking.

### 5/5 — Small thing but important

*2026-02-18*

I like that it doesn’t reset you to zero like you failed forever. That mindset shift alone helped me stop the all-or-nothing spiral.

### 5/5 — The community part surprised me

*2026-02-18*

I normally avoid community features because they’re either toxic or fake positive. But reading other people’s posts made me realize I’m not the only one doing the ‘I’ll start Monday’ thing every week :)

### 5/5 — Weirdly grounding

*2026-02-18, version 4.1.0*

Hard to explain but when a craving hits, my brain gets loud. This app makes it quieter. Not gone… just quieter. That’s really been helping me heal most days
