It seems a trend; with BNPL… you seem to be penalized for actually making payments on time and fulfilling obligations on the micro loans. so odd. Nobody has responded to support messages in weeks ### 5/5 — I love the new app *2019-01-25, version 4.02* I’m excited about the ease of not swiping my credit card ### 5/5 — Great app *2019-01-25, version 4.02* I was one of the people out of 1000s downloading it at the same time, that made their servers crash over the weekend but they resolved the issue pretty quickly and I’ve been able to use it since Monday without any problems. I’m not sure what people were talking about the $1 charge but I didn’t get any charges. They did withdraw $0.01 and then put it back when I added a card. This isn’t a big deal for me as PayPal and other services do that to verify bank info. Unlike others I’ve seen, it is actually completely free. And it’s not just another geeky way to pay at stores. The places that accept it as payment actually cut money off the bill when I pay with this app instead of my card. Can’t beat that deal! So far, haven’t seen any ads on this either—at least not the annoying ads. The app does show who nearby accepts it as payment and how much the discount is. The app does need an account that’s set up in the Life Leadership mobile app, but that’s free and has some budgeting and financial management tools that are helpful, so it’s not a big deal. It’s actually pretty helpful. One of my favorite things about the payment system is that my payment information is completely secured. CrayPay tokenizes the information so it can’t be hacked or stolen. It’s a lot safer than using my card. I also heard a rumor that they will soon allow users to pay merchants using cryptocurrency. Now imagine you get a new customer. Now imagine that customer can’t add any forms of payment so your company literally is preventing itself from being paid. What an app! ### 1/5 — Deleting ..Never worked properly *2019-02-27, version 4.1.0* Installed the app and gave it a month to operate properly but the payment app denied me on several occasions, kicked me out of my sight, updating the app Caused other problems, I had to reload my cards three times, had to update password several times, had to reload my ID and then the final straw was the blue circle that just spun even when I was able to log in . When it worked it was good and customer support was fast but the frustration was not worth it.. TJ ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2019-01-25, version 4.02* After a lot of hype around this app I can say I am very disappointed. You can save 1.25% at Home Depot when you buy the gift card through the app. There are no real decent savings here. However, the tipping point was the lack of customer service. The app did not work properly when I first signed up and it took four different emails to customer set for help and got one reply. The answer they provided was to wait for the update. Needless to say even after the update the app if not functioning as promised. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs *2019-01-21, version 4.0* All I heard about for months was the integration of the Life app and CrayPay! Two days I. The app still will not work properly and the excuse i get is growing pains! Did the admins actually think adding tens of thousands of users would not create a strain on the servers and the system! Horrible just horrible! Keep looking elsewhere! This app is not worth your time ### 1/5 — Card issues *2018-03-10, version 2.0.0* I’ve tried paying for an event several times and it says there is an error and won’t accept my payment. However, I have been charged $1.00 for each of those tries, totaling $4.00 so far. My discount was only $6.00 to begin with. Very frustrated with this. I don’t recommend this app. I should have just bought the tickets from the events site because now it’s costing me an extra $4.00. ### 1/5 — Good deal/bugged app *2017-09-16, version 1.3* The ability to get good deals through gift cards is great! But I've had to delete and reinstall the app 3 times because it will suddenly say my fingerprint and pin IDs are wrong. Even though I know they aren't. The app will let me search and find stores I want to get gift cards for but it won't let me add at card to buy any. I've tried going through the my wallet and selecting a gift card for purchase neither option worked. I also contacted the apps customer support who contacted me a few days later and asked if I was entering my card correctly and if it was MY card? Then gave me a service ticket number and Never contacted me again.... why bother releasing an app if it won't function ### 2/5 — Money money money. *2018-07-05, version 2.5.2* Only downloaded the app after hearing reviews will be deleting this app. I ain’t paying no one to shop or use there app to pay a company I am buying from. 10% cash back? NO... that being said Go buy a prepaid van**** Visa card. Make sure it’s debit some Gift cards says debit (Don't get the GiftCards) on back it says it can pay bills everyday items etc. it’s well worth just adding a little money to a prepaid card and loosing out on it then linking a major card that gets one wipe out with a $1 charge every time u look at the page. And yes you can still manage and Restrict pay. I’m surprised they don’t charge a dollar every hour that you have your app set to use “location while using”. **Developer response:** Hey Lucky. Just to clarify, we don't charge you anything to use the app. There is a $1 transaction when initially linking your payment card that is immediately refunded, but it's a one time thing. We only help pay the bills, not take more money from you. ### 2/5 — I am really wanting to love this app BUT *2017-12-19, version 1.5* So far I have tried adding one of my cards and, I am on what would be my 5th total Try, I have put it in manually 2 times, and it’s not liking the billing number??? I just tried adding it 3 more times via the scan option, and every time after the picture is finally taken it the app kicks me out! Then when I go back in it says there is no card added. So I would love to try to use this app soon, but I am going to half to wait till it works all the way. I’ve been very pleased with it. The fact that it’s totally free, I can use it with sales and coupons, it saves me money at the cash register every time and even allows me to send gift cards to my friends and family, are huge pluses.
